Can everyone agree shotguns take zero skill to use?

I see this argument come up all the time. "Shotguns take skill now" but in my opinion they don't require any gun skill. Sure they require movement skill but that skill can be attributed to every other weapon in different ways. All the other guns require precision and timing whereas shotguns are just point in general direction and shoot. Minimal gun skill.
Now, I'm not bashing shotguns and shotgun users. I've only been flawless twice since the April update and both times were with my shotgun, and I wasn't carried either. Shotguns take tremendous movement skill to do well with. Having to effectively rush your opponents and use cover, close the distance effectively and just kill them. It's an extremely rewarding feeling.
But what happens when you close the gap? What's left? Gunskill. Using your weapon to kill your opponent. Which is a shotgun, which is just so easy to kill with once you're in that range.
Agree or disagree? I'm intererested to hear everyone's thoughts on this subject, even though I'll get lots of hate for this. I'm open to all opinions and keyboard warriors.

2 RepliesLook at experienced shotgunners ("skilled") and then look at an average player with a shotgun. It requires skill to be effective with a shotgun (same with all weapon classes) but it doesn't require skill to use one (also same with all weapon classes).

But any gun doesn't need gun skill by that logic. you just have to aim in when your range and shoot them...

I still can't get down the movement/stability bullshit while jumping and aiming. I would like for that part about shotguns to go back to the way they were before the change. Now I just feel like I'm fighting some invisible force field that keeps my aim off while moving. It's bullshit.

By the tldr, no gun in this game has any skill. What do you do with a sniper? Aim and shoot What do you do with a shotgun? Oh yea. Aim and shoot. Same thing [spoiler]only difference is that (most) snipers sit there while (most) shotgunners attempt to close the distance[/spoiler]
