Why are wolves big in popculture?
I see tattoos, drawings, gamertags/Psns, and I went to the zoo today for a field trip and the bear exhibit and the wolf exhibit were right next to each other and almost everyone gravitated to the wolf exhibit

Wolves have somewhat similar social structures and families to humans. Parallels like the "lone wolf" and "wolf packs" have been drawn to human society. Many people also admire wolves for their behavior, ranging from absolute determination to almost meditative states. [b]Because they seem familiar[/b]. Wolves live all around the world, and so do dogs. Humans look past the differences and see the similarities between "man's best friend" and wolves.
