So, you call snipers balanced huh?

This chart disagrees... http://guardian.gg/en/weapon-stats?platform=2&start=2016-03-26&end=2016-04-24&mode=14&activity=0 The use of one particular kind of weapon should not outweigh the others as heavily as snipers do. The reason they outweigh the other weapons is because there is still no downside to hard scoping sniper lanes, and yes, even quick scoping up close. The easiest and most simple fix is to make all incoming bullets cause a flinching effect while scoped in on sniper rifles. That would bring the high effectiveness in line with an appropriate amount of risk. You should [b][u]NOT[/u][/b] be able to drill someone with a sniper in the head with any sort of weapon and still get blasted as easily as you do. And I'm not the only one with that opinion either

  • People complain about snipers, but are totally fine with fusion rifles. I don't use either, but I much rather deal with snipers because not everyone can use them.

  • Overused because it's the only good impact sniper available and you get it from a quest doesn't justify it as overpowered. You do in fact get a flinch effect when being shot via ADS. The other biggest gripe is aim assist and the 2 most commonly used scopes shortgaze and ambush has had their aim assist taken away. In my opinion some small scope sway should be implemented to not make it a hard scope down a hallway with no drawbacks.

  • Overused =/= Overpowered Sometimes, but not always. In this case, Overused = Everything else was nerfed to s[b][/b]hit. Solution? Buff shotguns and fusion rifles.

          I'm fine as long as everyone agrees that the abundance of ammo was never the problem, the core mechanics of the weapon were. Fast rof, good tracking, steady aim, 2 and 1 shot kills. The funny thing is, if they had a little less tracking and a lot slower rate of fire, they'd be completely balanced. Bolt action anyone?

          • Nope, not at all. They can only be used at close, medium, and long range and one hit kill anything. Not to mention there isn't weapon sway and bullets go right down the middle every time. And when a bullet isn't a one hit kill, it takes enough health to be one shot by a primary.

            • Flinching might work but I'd make ads time much slower instead. It would kill quick scoping and make hard scoping more risky.

            • In my opinion snipers are ambush weapons. Players with snipers should have a huge advantage to unaware players. A huge advantage that comes in the form of a one hit kill. With that being said, snipers should need a way bigger disadvantage on heads on engagement. I vote for way more flinching while being shot.

              • I think snipers are fine. I don't snipe in PVP because I'm not good enough to do so. The only complaint I have is when I get the drop on a sniper. I hit him twice with a scout rifle shot, yet he hits me and kills me instantly. I know that is how snipers work but it doesn't seem right that I can get two shots off at him and he doesn't even flinch. I respect snipers and give them their props. I just wish there was a way to change the flinching. Especially if you are the one getting the drop on the sniper.

                      • You say about hard scoping lanes, but if they're doing that, any half decent sniper will kill you as soon as they see you and you won't get chance to shoot back anyway. If they stay camped there and you keep dying to them, then go a different way!

                        • Snipers are dominant weapon type. like Come on, just look at my 1kys roll. godly. the longbow synthesis has returned. a deadly sniper ". The Ldr has returned. Another God sniper. fan favorites. and they are fairly easy to get.
