Dark souls 3 covenants
Explain it to me like I'm 5. I have found the sun bro item and the blue sentinels. I haven't used anything yet

You can think of them like a team in a way. Certain covenants are more geared towards certain actions. For example, the sun bro covenant is a Co-op thing. They don't mean too much in terms of gameplay, but you can get some cool items from the rewards if you manage to get enough of their respective item. You can join a covenant by putting the icon looking thing in the slot for it in the equipment menu and there you can change whenever so don't feel it's a one time thing. [i]\[T]/[/i]

They are groups you can join that have different abilities for co op. For example, The Warriors of sunlight lets you be summoned by other players or summon other people. The blue sentinels protect the people in the way of blue covenant from invaders. To join one, just go to equipment and there is a slot for covenants to the right.
