Elite Armor Wishlist
I hope that Elites will be more diverse in Reach. Not to be a man caring about aesthetics, I find fighting Elites clad in Combat Armor to be a bit bland. The armor's fine for standard infantry but not for Zealots, they need to stand out more.

The people who play Elites are usually hardcore Elites or children. Raise the hitboxes, I don't care! As long I am an honour guard I will SMASH you.

I would like to see all the returning H3 armors. Also I would love to use the Honor Guard armor in MM, helmet and all!

mh what about a "Hero" Elite? just an Elite that is a great fighter and he leads his own little army, it would be like Master Chief, this Elite would have a high rank because he is a great fighter, but he is just a soldier. I don't know if this would work, but I want to see a great elite like the Arbiter

I always felt elites got the short end of the stick as far as armor perms in halo 3. I hope they have more in Reach and hopefully more exciting ones; I only ever liked Combat and Commando helmets.

I wouldnt mind having all of the campain helmets in multiplayer too. I would wear the councilor headress in MM even if it made me a much larger target, because it is just so awsome. Same for the Honor gaurd helmet.

I really hope there will be the same amount of armour perms for each side in multiplayer, i felt that this was one of bungies biggest mistakes in H3. Id also appreciate it if (in the case that they did this again) the Elites had something special to add for getting all the achievements, that also pissed me off in H3, Spartans could have a Katana and the Elites had nothing :(

Why has no one suggested Arbiter armor yet? If we can wear MC's Mark V/VI helm, why cant we wear the Arbiter's helm? [Edited on 02.01.2010 12:02 PM PST]

yeah. or maybe be able to see another Ultra-honorguard elite like in the end of the level Gravemind in halo 2! that guy was awesome! if you play the level again, he is the last enemy in the level but he comes along with 2 invisable elites. not to mention he is half-jaw, because he is white with honorguard shoulder/knee-pads, and he is missing HALF of his four-mandibled mouth!

How about not wearing a helmet at all? Elites would look good with no helmet.

have you checked out the Reach poster Halcyon dropped into the comm chatter today? the poster definitely features a counciler. they looked freakin' awesome in halo 2, but i do think they needed to be somewhat scarce and rare. that way, they seem more important. and since councilers are apperently as important as a counciler prophet apperently. so since Reach is such an important planet, the prophets must have sent some councilers to command the troops. i also think that they sent Regret, but that is to be revealed to us in time if that is the case..... but i would like to see somemore rangers too! those were awesome! i think they work really well with the drones because they have shields. the drone captains were okay, but i think its a little better with elites because they are more a commanding type, not to mention its harder to zoom-in and shoot the elites with the constant nag of the drones plasma shots. I don't want them in (the helmets, I mean). Not because I don't like Elites, I like them a lot, sometimes I even play as one. But it's just the helmet size affecting gameplay. In campaign it doesn't matter so much. But in Matchmaking, nobody will pick the larger helmets because it's like a "Hey! I'm over here! Pick me!" kind of sign. If they made smaller helmets look more aesthetically pleasing, then I'd be all for it. but as far as the Honor Guard and Councilor helms? No thank you. -SpaZzy-
