So I got this idea from freefallerexe's post about bringing back Murmur for 2016. For those who don't know what murmur is, Bungie added a fusion rifle during the first expansion (murmur) that allowed you to change between two elements, solar and arc. This also changed how the gun behaved.
My idea is that Bungie should introduce an exotic weapon (it can be any type of gun, not just a fusion rifle) that allows us to change its element similar to how murmur worked, but with all three element types.
If you like this, bump so it can be spread around. If you don't, comment what ideas you'd like to see on future exotics.
Thank you for your time.

1 ReplyMaybe, perhaps, add that to thunderlord since alt versions of it where shown during TTK vi doc.

1 ReplyHow about a side arm, instead of the three sights, it is the 3 elements, crowd control, middle tree (I don't care), exotic perk: on a precision kill, you are granted an over shield that is weak to the selected element for the weapon
-
1 ReplyThey kinda have that for warlocks with susanoo. Changes element type to match your subclass, and its legendary.
-
2 RepliesI like your idea, so kudos for that post. There's an exotic weapon that's almost like that: the queenbreaker's bow: changing its sights affects its stats. But since you likely know this, hooray! I still like this and maybe cozmo or Deej takes notice?

1 ReplyNo, there should just be a year 2 Mur Mur
-
4 RepliesI had an idea for an exotic perk for a weapon called 'chameleon' that would change the weapons element to whichever element your subclass is, kind of like the susanoo but any character could use it, and it would lock to the subclass instead of changing based on dealing damage

1 ReplyBungo uk what to do
-
1 ReplyNooooooooooooo Still have the Y1 Murmur and still hate the sound it makes.
-
7 RepliesJack of All Trades, roaring damage rotates stats: arc = fusion, void = shotty, solar = sniper.
-
4 RepliesPeople keep saying Susanoo. Wtf is that
-
1 ReplySusanoo made me think bungie is working on something like this. Maybe it can be done with the Thunderlord!
-
1 ReplyI hear Susanoo does this
-
1 ReplySusanoo is almost there

Step Juan - Name it The Whispers Step 2 - Throw money at screen

1 ReplyWhen that weapon was first acquired. I thought there would be more like that. Then i finished TDB....

1 ReplyEdited by Vizard_Nero_: 4/26/2016 3:21:52 AMMaybe they'll make the murmur an exotic just like how they made the black hammer an exotic. But I guess in order for that to happen it needed to be used all the time. Edit: there's also an exclusive fusion rifle that changes burns. But you can't changed it manually. Susanoo changes burns when you cause elemental damage to an enemy.

5 RepliesYeah a primary

11 RepliesVery few people used Murmur, myself included. Why the sudden interest?
-
2 RepliesYes!! And make it a Playstation Exclusive!!! :D
-
3 RepliesQuite literally the only fusion rifle I ever enjoyed using
-
3 RepliesMake mida able to swap between all three elementals

6 RepliesA jack of all trades (elements) weapon would be badass. One of the things I liked about murmur was how the weapons stats changed dependent on which element was being used. My main concern is on how balanced it would be. Murmur (fusion rifles in general) could be a little underwhelming in terms of impact and general dps in PvE. If it's going to take not only my exotic slot but my sniper slot as well, it better damn well be worth it
-
1 ReplyIt should have the choice of all three. But as you upgrade the gun you choose which two you would like to be exchangeable. That would keep things balanced I think.

1 ReplyPlease no.
