So recently there has been a problem,
Fromsoftware has been flagging and banning people for playing offline. Now, we have no idea why, but some speculation is because people are abusing a feature to transfer items between characters, hence making it really easy to acquire some items and achievements.
Now In my personal opinion this is terrible on their end. Banning people for using something they implemented? It needs to be fixed, and it needs to be fixed now. I've never played a souls game offline, and never really wanted to. But to be scared of playing offline and getting banned is ludicrous, and not acceptable in any way.
Tell me what you guys and gals think about this...

That sucks, recently I've had to play offline because I was getting network errors every 5 minutes and now there is a chance I could get banned :\

3 Replieswell if people are abusing the feature then they should be banned. And its funny that you want to hold the developers responsible for people taking advantage of exploits. That's like someone breaking into your house and the cops deciding to blame you instead. Because you didn't have an alarm system and a dog

5 RepliesYou can transfer items??

1 ReplyI like how from software are taking hacking seriously, these A-holes are forever ruining games with online.
-
What the shit? This is an awful decision. You're punishing people because they don't want to deal with online assholes? Wtf FromSoftware?
-
1 ReplyWhat? Really? That proves a problem for me, because it won't let me go online most of the time!
-
Lol@ developers criminalizing offline play.

3 RepliesEdited by MrClassNSass: 4/24/2016 5:08:34 PMDoes this problem also occur if your system itself is not connected to the internet and then later you go online?

7 RepliesPeople need to stop bitching and whining about things like this. "Why are they threatening us for something they messed up on?" It's called damage control. You don't own the rights to the software or the servers so they can ban anyone anytime.
-
2 RepliesAre you talking about the PC version? Because they've started carpet banning anyone they suspect of altering stats. The hackers have also been dropping other people's stat values to zero, which makes the innocents look like they hacked and gets them a ban.

6 RepliesWhat feature are you talking about?
