Please make the taken archon priest strike more popular!
I spent at least 2 hours doing heroic strikes and the non taken version of the archon priest came up 1 time and that was it... I have been doing strikes trying to get the taken shotgun for two days now and that was the first time the archon priest strike showed up. I have given up on trying to get it until it becomes more popular.

7 RepliesThe key is not wanting that strike. Bungie developed some sort of telepathic technology that reads your mind and knows what you want so it doesn't give it to you.

1 ReplyIt's inconsistent at times. I have the taken shotgun though, fell to me at 335 on Friday, check the Titan. It's good.

1 ReplyStrike playlists should go in order through all the strikes starting at random so that way you don't have any repeats, and if there are repeats make them taken versions.

Why bother they patched the fun out of the archon priest, and the gun is lame. I wish they never brought it into year 2.

I agree I haven't done this many strikes in a long time and I'm not the one to leave strike after strike till I get it. When the taken spring dropped I kept asking my buds like guys I thought there was a new strike and we looked all over for it. *sigh*

Should be selectable from Destinations like any other strike. -blam!-ers.

Lol, ran one strike Saturday for the Same reason and got the Taken strike. I also got the shotgun at the end. Welp, there goes hours of grinding heroic strikes that I don't need to do. ;)

That shotgun is garbage anyway you're not missing anything. I used mine for infusion fuel.

I've spent the past 3 days spending at least 3 hours on Destiny, mostly on the Heroic Strike playlist, and I only saw the Taken Archon Priest today. In fact, I hadn't seen the regular Archon Priest until the Strike immediately before the Taken one. It needs to have an increased chance.

4 RepliesSo you need RNG to get the right strike, then you need RNG to make it the taken strike, just to hopefully have RNG drop a shotgun with a great roll. RNG^3..... well played Bungie

I know what you mean, I've ranked up vanguard twice and never even played the archon priest.
