Let us infuse any armor or class item from year 1
Armor doesn't matter and it will allow for more unique looks. I really would like to play iron banner decked out in all year 1 iron banner gear
Edit: I am not talking about weapons at all, sure I'd like everything from year one brought forward but that's unrealistic based on what bungie has done in the past. I'm asking for us to be allowed to use year one armor and class items. In a vanity slot or through infusion makes no difference to me.

Response to pedal on right: That's my exact point on armor.... I have no reason to rock year 1 stuff because it gives me such a disadvantage with Stat cool downs. Let me infuseit like the new chroma armor...

1 ReplyBump so hard Rihanna would feel it. This would get more people playing old raids as well because they could wear the armor from it. They'd also still have to do new raids to infuse it to 335.

And yes they are yours so that user can stop their crying and simply agree or disagree with your position. I refuse to read their post simply based on your edits. Take pride in your ideas and remember most people are not original thinkers. PS- For the record I suggested this the same day that we realized what the new light system was and that year one content would not be updated immediately.

2 RepliesAll for it although I think if you look at the stats for y1 gear the numbers are so low you would have a hard time getting your super/grenade any where close to the time of y2 gear Y1 weapons wouldn't be a problem - the perks that made them so outstanding have either been removed or nerfed to useless. I don't care how good of a roll you have on an old Felwinters - it wouldn't be anything like it was during HOW Even the elemental primaries wouldn't be as useful as they used to be since shields are not as big of a deal in Y2

I would be pretty god damn pissed off if they did this now seeing as how I've already given in and dismantled almost all of my year one armor.

"Let us infuse any armor or class item from year 1" I wholeheartedly agree. Being realistic, I know that when Bungie releases Destiny 2, all of our gear, from Year 1 or Year 2, will be obsolete. We'll be lucky if Bungie lets us keep our emblems and shaders.

Plus you can't steal my thunder when I haven't even had that thunder to begin with. I can understand people ignoring me, and I've come to accept it. If someone else posts something similar and is not ignored, sure I'll get a little annoyed but that is the most I'll feel about it, annoyed. I would still support them no matter what because it is the same goal as mine, even if their post is only like a sentence or two long and doesn't go greatly into detail but that's besides the point. Instead of pointing people away from your post to mine, you should've just use the my quote to strengthen your post. These ideals don't need to be divided. edit: I have changed my post so that link will just redirect them back here.

1 ReplyI'd love to see some armor come back, but considering they made nearly every old armor perk obsolete wouldn't make them very useful. So I could see where a Transmog system would make better sense. A separate inventory that'll house a singular armor pieces. Helmet, gauntlets, chest piece, boots, and class item so that their model over rides your actual equipped armor models. >,> Don't think it'd be too difficult to actually implement.

2 RepliesI want everything from Year 1 to have this option, personally. Also, anyone else notice how any posts relating to the subject of bringing Year 1 stuff forward go largely ignored by Bungie? I mean you would think with such large demand for it that they would have worked this out by now. But no, Bungie says players having more options is bad. =P

1 ReplyYES i want my crota gear back. cept that cloak. ugly as sin :'( loved my VoG cloak. my hunter collected so many sexy ass cloaks Year One. i had to delete all to make vault space and the fact they made class items directly affect your stats (which is bullsh*t) YEAR ONE GEAR! YEAR ONE GEAR! YEAR ONE GEAR! or at least let us upgrade blues to legendaries. so many of the blue drops i get at the Court of Oryx (which still need explained to me this freaking loot system) look a hell of a lot better than KF gear

Yep, the only "OP" thing you could get would be a generic heavy ammo capacity buff, but that's not really that op. I would really love to wear the shattered vault cloak again...

3 RepliesOn one hand: On the Warlock, the Vault of Glass armor was probably my favorite out of both years combined. I loved the look of that. On the other hand: One major difference between y1 and y2 armor is that y2 has specific reloader-boost and such while y1 just had "increased primary reload" So simply infusing the old y1 might cause some issues there.
