It's been explained in weekly updates at least twice. Not trying to be a dick or anything but it's annoying to see that people are still doing it. I guess if you didn't know, you just didn't know. But legacy engrams will only award weapons/armor at year 1 value. STILL useful if there's something you don't have in the blueprints for year 2 to unlock.

Edited by JerhumeBrunnenG: 4/24/2016 4:44:47 AMYour not being one at all. I appreciate your feedback. Thank you. I'll pay closer attention to the weekly updates from now on. Never thought about the unlocking for Year 2 exotics too. I'm not a player who's on for as long as I would like to, so I'm always sort off playing catch up - it's why these forums are sweet. Thanks again - I now have a new plan I need to implement. Being an Xbox360 player, you PS players really do know what your talking about. No disrespect to my fellow Xbox players of who some have given priceless help also, but maybe it's the fact that Bungie use the PS4!?, not sure. ........... Can I ask you a question also if you don't mind? - i'm a nightstalker hunter and still trying to work out the best armour / weapons to complement me. Any ideas? Thanks :) See you on the battlefield ....

For nightstalker hunter you need to experiment with Max discipline and strength. This lets you do the combo of throwing a poison smoke bomb and then a void grenade. Timed correctly, you can get great kills. I usually run this with a Monte Carlo to keep my strength up since it loads slower than the discipline. As for armor you could try for the helmet that gives you shade step but you can't roll that with disc/str. I usually go with knucklehead radar and the perk that gives you enhanced tracking. It's fun to line up shots before some steps back around the corner after escaping from the smoke wambo combo.

Me personally? On my nightstalker, I run max intellect and discipline w/ bones of eao. I use better control. You can move around the map QUICKLY, while also being able to adjust on the fly in case you get in trouble. I use hand cannon reload gauntlets because I'm mainly a TLW kinda guy, but occasionally switch it up. As far as weapons, it'll depend on the map. If it's a small map, I use mida/conspiracy theory. That way I can move around quickly and also shotgun if I need to. Medium maps, I'll either use mida/1kys or TLW/conspiracy theory if the other team is pushing hard. Bigger maps is always mida/TLW and sniper. Best thing you can do is try different load outs and setups until you're comfortable. It takes time, but once you have it down, you'll come into your own. Good luck!
