What's the best way to get to 335 without raiding
OK I don't have time to do the raid I've done them but gotten screwed on the drops so what's the best way to max out

1 ReplyRun PoE 3xweekly x3 characters. Here's the real secret though... Don't run your main character first. The gear drops according to your light level, right? So run PoE 42 with alt #2 x3 and get your 90k points. Turn in the card to Varyks and use that gear to boost alt #1. Now alt #1 is a higher light, run PoE 42 x3 again, get your 90k and use that gear to boost your main. Now run PoE x 3 with your main, get 90k and boost your main again. Think of it like this: 3 characters, each 312. I run character #3, get the gear to boost it to 315. Infuse that into character #2. Character 2 is now 315. Run PoEx3, would boost to 318, instead infuse to character #1 who is now 318. Character #1 then runs PoE, gets the gear to go to #321. This is just week 1 and boosts your main x2. Next week you run #1 first, boost #3 by a HUGE amount. #3 boosts #2. #2 boosts #1 but only by a little. Week 3 they're mostly even again so 3->2->1->1 again.

Time is tough for me as well. Seems like I get a level per 1-2 hours. POE, Strikes, and leveling up when no time to raid. That is me at least.

Honestly Raiding is the quickest way, just go random raid. People in general are a lot better these days, even if you don't get all the way through you'll go up a level or 2 in a couple of checkpoints. Otherwise; CoE will get you class items and ghosts, and completing the challenges will get you a weapon and a piece of armour each week. But only one of each. (Variks packages only drop upto 330). Court of Oryx tier 3 can get you an artifact upto 335. Shaxx weekly bounty can drop gear upto 335. Exotics can drop from CoE, Nightfall and engrams upto 335. So 3-of-coins may be your best chance. By comparison the Kings Fall raid can drop any armour, and multiple pieces. Primary, Secondary and Heavy weapons. Ghosts, class items and artifacts. Best option.

TTK released, no raid -> 312 little reason for higher. Update released, no raid -> 334. Court of Oryx until my 335 artifact dropped. Dropped at tier2 and surprised my for I was charging Stolens. Challenge PoE raised me from 316 to 334 in about 20 runs solo. Put my boys in on Friday night. They were 295 and 300. Yesterday they were 309 and 319 respectively. We did 10 runs only. First 3 were to get the Sigil done. Donned the gear and speed ran the remaining 7. Only thing I noticed were 1 exotic in 10 speed runs. When I solo I drop 5-6 plus 2 Lord of Wolves. Using 3oC's of course for the exotic engram drops. Most importantly, decrypt exotics at max light, don't forget to do that. Hope this helps.

Do a bunch of heroic strikes. You will get tons of blue drops from the bosses when vanguard streak kicks in and you will start to hate yourself.

3 RepliesIv enjoyed the no stress Coe grinding, no mic required, Iv had my music on with a few beers just playing away and getting some decent drops. I'm just gunna keep at it until I get all my PvP gear up to max light then I'll leave it.

Now that I'm 331 the faction packages don't help much anymore. It's fun cause my wife likes to watch and looks for places to go exploring. Occasionally I'll do heroic strikes farming 3oC, but I'm not too comfortable with randoms being old and slow. :) Oh - baby crota this week at the court. Got an exotic there too with a 3oC. Decrypted into a 335 dragon's breath that was prompt infused into my sleeper.

Well since the update the raid is irrelevant. Just do CoE, Trials, Iron Banner, and grind strikes for drops. That's what I think would be the best way

POE 42 challenge. Run it around 40 times and you'll be around 330 with a crap load of 3oC's.

You have a week to do the raid and you get check points. Do one fight a night and will be done in like 4 or 5 days. First day I went up 6 light in one raid.

Many people say raid, but that only works once a week and you have to have a total of 6 reliable players to be able to complete the raid! PoE at level 41 and 42 can get you there much much faster as you can keep your completed card and you can still enter PoE 42 and use 3oC's to get high ranking exotics and other high ranking gear over and over again! Plus, that only takes 3 players doing it casually, goofing off as they go! No need to be overly serious here man! Then, if you need an artifact, head on over to court of Oryx and run some antiquated runes! You'll be at least 330 in no time! :D
