Depends how you look at it. Conservatives: we gotta be making money Liberals: we gotta make sure people aren't living in poverty That being said, FDR was an amazing president. He took over from shitty ass Hoover and actually helped get things back on track.
Yes, before you start blowing up about how "war time production is what turned it around", I know. But FDR sure as hell did a lot better than Hoover did, and he was turning things around.
The founding father is not on list and Obama gets more votes than Clinton. Very educated pool of voters.

5 Replies38% FDR? I'm disappointed. This is the man that ordered farmers to burn their crops while people went hungry. He had milk poured down drains when people were thirsty. His Keynesian economics dictated that the state must keep things scarce in order to keep prices high. He issued an executive order to intern Japanese-Americans. And for the liberals that hate nuclear weaponry, who do you think kickstarted the project?

1 ReplyAll these capitalistic extremist swine saying FDR was the worst dictator because he used socialist ideals to rekindle our economy. Grow up and realize that your little public school textbooks and Fox News cram capitalism down your throats until it spills over. Capitalism works if the people don't abuse it. People did in the 1920's and then we fell into a depression. Socialism works if the government doesn't abuse it. In the late 30s/early 40s, the government didn't abuse it and we sprung from depression. We had a recession in the late 2000's because people abused capitalism again. Our economy is hardly thriving from remaining a capitalistic extremist nation because morons like you don't know shit about economy.
