I am really tempted to buy this. I won't be using it for my first playthrough anyways, but it comes with a Darksign journal, which is the biggest reason I want it! Plus I want some Dark Souls collectibles since the series is ending. ;-;
..But it's also $40.00..
So I'm asking you guys! Should I buy it?

3 RepliesHell no! It's a Prima guide, it's goddam awful. Not only is it just built poorly but the guide itself is stupidly written and rife with mistakes. "This boss has quick swings, so try rolling" is the basic gist of their summaries. Read it for ~5 minutes in EB and bailed

If you come across a paperback edition of the guide without its factory seal then you're in luck. Simply open the book to its first page and use the provided code on the Prima website. From then on, you'll have complete access to a free digital guide complete with video tutorials and interactive maps! 5 RepliesThe game really isn't that big. I looked at a map and have been to every secret area so far. I'm sure I've missed some shit but still.
