Ranking up faction past 25?
Hey guys, just recently got the quest for the rank 25 dead orbit Hunter cloak...question is, is there any point in going past rank 25 for dead orbit? Or should I switch and try and get shaders, emblems, and exotic cloaks from a different faction.

I have each character aligned with a different faction. Still missing a few ships, but have all shaders. Only reason to switch factions for me would be to get the exotic class items from the other factions.

1 ReplyTo collect the remaining gear/emblems/shaders you are missing. Yesterday I hit 25 with new monarchy but I'm still grinding it to get all the spectar gear

Stay with the faction so you can wear the exotic

Once you have everything from shaders, ships and emblems to the exotic piece from one faction move on to the next. I just got my final exotic armor quest yesterday for NM. I'll finish it in a day.

If all you wanted was the class item then no, however if you switch the faction on that character you will not be able to wear the class item until you switch back.

Ships, shaders and emblems. FWC packages played quite a role in levelling up my warlock. I don't raid you see, so those faction packages are quite a powerful tool to level.

Nope if you have everything in a faction (shaders, ship, and exotic class item) that is everything to collect. I would still stay in that Faction so you can actually use the exotic class item. If you're trying to collect them all I would just save a bunch of Heavy ammo in your vault until you can rank your next character from 0-25 in one setting.

I'm 37 in dead orbit, Have all the weapons and armor, all shaders except one, both ships

1 ReplyIf all you wanted was the exotic class item then no there isn't a point. There are no more exotic items locked behind levels.

Then there is no point tbh so yah switch factions if you have everything unlocked. Also if you for example have the dead orbit exotic class item and you switch factions you won't be able to wear that class item anymore until you switch back to that faction
