I've spent over $180 just to have every single last bit of content, why does bungie want so much more of my money for silver now???

Silver is optional you don't need it and you can earn get 3 treasure boxes a week for free. If weapons slip into these boxes yes we have a problem but right now it's fine. I spent £180 on both collector editions. Worth every penny for the amount of fun I've had.

Dude get used to microtransactions. They aren't going away, and they're not breaking the game. A few people crying that it takes too long to get perfect sets of gear? Serious first world problems... I have plenty of great gear I didn't pay extra for and I'm never going to be upset that the weekly free boxes are somehow making my life worse

We want you to have options that lead to the stuff you want. You don't need Silver to get all the new gear.

Lol Deej I heart you to death but that is a very underwhelming statement. Yes you don't need silver to get all the gear but without buying those dumb silver chest you will be playing this game well into year 4 before getting full sets of the gear you want for each character. Atleast when raid gear was the best you knew where to get it from and that it would happen before the next dlc atleast. Now it's good luck with ur 3 free silver boxes of usually want you don't want. It's unrealistic for the avg player to ever get a set of taken gear within this games life cycle for all 3 characters....that is unless you spend money on silver and buy boxes to increase ur chance by a lot. Essentially you are forcing players to purchase these silver boxes if they want the gear that looks the best. Normally I don't mind cosmetic dlc but when the game is based on looting the rarest gear this is almost a joke sir. But that's just my piece. Hope ur trip was well.

I know, but what about the emotes? What if I want a new dance move or something? I only get the preloaded one, I have to pay 5 bucks for another one

You can earn them from Nightfalls as well.
-
You can??? I've soloed 2 of them and the best thing I got was 19 strange coins
not a horrible reward it's just... I wanted other stuff
-
Soloing will never change your rewards. But yes, emote packages can drop from Nightfalls. At least they did before the April update. I can't confirm they still do, but I don't see why they wouldn't.

OK, thanks 👍
