For dead orbit quest not working.
The quest for dead orbit is not giving me any progress. I have the shader emblem and class item on, but no matter what I do I get 0 progress towards it. I have tried abandoning quest and re aquireing it but still nothing happening

5 RepliesHi, Currently the Spektar class items do not count for the exotic faction quests. You will have to use a different Dead Orbit class item https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/44590

1 ReplyI'm experiencing the same issue. I have "Endling Bond"(Class Item), "Bittersteel"(Shader), and "Omen of the Dead"(Emblem) equipped with no change to the quest after completing strikes and crucible matches. Will there be a fix for this soon Bungie?

1 ReplyAny news yet on a fix? I just got the dead orbit quest and it is not letting me get any progress done. Tried every trick I could muster. But still nothing.

I specifically bought the bond from the Dead Orbit vendor and deleted a Chroma-based armor piece from my warlock to make sure there weren't any Spektar complications. I have attempted two combos of shaders/emblems ("Revenant" and "Bittersteel" with "Omen of the Exodus" and "Omen of the Decayer") with various permutations for each, and no matter what activity I complete (Crucible, strikes, or patrol) none of the quest tasks increase in completion. I may be missing something, but it seems like I've met the quest parameters while avoiding the chroma glitch. Any information and assistance is appreciated.

I'm having the same problem with future war cult. Only have a eon tracer bond, which may be causing the issue.

Spektar Class items are currently bugged in that they do not count as your Faction Class item. In the mean time, you'll have to use the Faction stock DO class armor.
