Increased Zoom changes the "angles" you are familiar with when trying to snipe lanes. If you are trying to hold down a revive, or wait for someone to come through the doorway, you may be wondering if you are actually at head height.... If you are using the short-gaze, zoom in and look at the numbers around the edge of the scope. The 9 is approximately head height, so use this to your advantage. Your elevation will effect this however, so don't rely on it fully.
Increased time to ADS: Many panic situations have now been made harder due to it taking longer for you to get your scope up and ready. You will need to play a bit safer,. If you aren't ready, players will close the gap before you can line up a shot.
If you want to "quick scope" and be an aggressive sniper, pray to the heavens that you get a sniper with "Quickdraw" - From what I've tested, Quickdraw wasn't nerfed as heavily (if at all) like snapshot was. The increased zoom speed is still solid, and will allow you to react to panic situations easier. If you can't find one, blade dancer has the perk in it's skill tree... you'll just need to deal with terrible super hit registration
Sniping hasn't changed that much, with many players adjusting after only a few games. The extra zoom makes certain engagements tougher, but for the most part, if you are trying to snipe someone from 3 meters away, your spacing is off :P
If you have any questions, throw them my way. If i don't have a solid answer, there is a good chance someone better at sniping will be commenting on this post, and they will help you out :)

Might be a silly question but ive never tried this... does bladedancers quickdraw and a snipers quickdraw stack? If so would you say quickdraw is superior than snapshot on weapons for bladedancers?
