Why is xur always selling crap every Friday
I think bungie needs to change xur add like some exotic shards and weapons and engrams that are 300 and like year one weapons and exotic year one weapons and more that would make people wanna buy something from xur every Friday.

11 RepliesI'll explain Ahem.... Once upon a time Xur sold max light equipment, back then it was just called Attack(on weapons) and armor was the only thing that contributed to your light level. He did frequently show up with items I found valuable. Then something weird happened. Instead of everyone being happy that everyone had a weekly crack at the best equipment in the game, some people got upset. Those crybabies felt that because Xur was selling the weapon/armor they RNGed out of some task, they were no longer special little snowflakes. Their cries of ignorance led to what Xur is today. No longer will he bring max light exotic weapons and armor. Xur is now just my Three of Coins vendor, and even that is 80% disappointment.

This is gong to be hard for you but stay with me on this. . Year 2 gear is garbage and will never be as good as year one was before the nerfs. So he can only sell garbage. Over and over.

Good post Xur kit should be at least 300. Vary the number of coins to get the items i.e. More coins have to work on it so not a freebie.

6 RepliesHe isn't going to sell shards, that's a bad idea. They're meant to be in short supply. As for crap, while it's mostly armour nowadays (and not necessarily bad armour), he has had both the Juju and the Zhalo in the past month.

3 Replies3 of coins. Everyone can get them so we don't need Xur anymore. He could really only sell 3 of coins and that's all people would need. The exotics he sells will always be 280 and the ones that drop from engrams now roll based on light level

Shards would be good, although you can work around it with some motes and heavy ammo synths...

Otherwise whatever, three of coins work and unless it's max, light level hardly matters now with 1:1 infusion. There's functionally no difference between him selling something at 280 or 300 or even 310 at this point. TBH, Xur is really for players to be able to get decent stuff if they are new or can't play a lot (or are just unlucky I guess). He's not for those of us who are always pushing max light or have 95% of the exotics already. We don't need his help. Edit: And like RavenousLD3341 said, there were a bunch of really annoying people who whined that getting something from xur (or 'xurning' it) was somehow unfair or cheap or whatever stupid thing goes on in the heads of crybabies like that. There were super annoying saltposts every time he sold something desirable, like "sign here if you [i]earned[/i] your Icebreaker, waah". Sad.
