While you are correct in saying that no true seasoned veteran of raids will struggle, rather than feeling more powerful as time progresses in destiny, we have all just had a huge reduction in power in pve, and the nerf was meant to balance pvp.
My team still beat warpriest & golgoroth in 2 damage phases, but the fact is that bungie weakened every single player across the board in pve, in a misguided attempt to balance a pvp that's frankly broken beyond repair.

My sniper and heavy still melts bosses it just means u cant unload one weapon alone on a boss. It isnt game breaking, not even close. The raid drops 335 items but is cap'd at 320 enemies so tbh it balances things. People just got used to doing Warpriest in one when 3 or 4 cycles was intended . Im average at best but i did HM when i was 305 ish and it was a challenge! that was before every one had spindles/ sleepers. We got spoon fed for so long people hate the change but the damage phases are so small losing 3-5 bullets in exchange for a few heavy shots is no big deal, in my opinion. A minute of people complete the raid, let alone hard mode, and this shouldnt cause any problems at all, its just slightly different to how people did it before. There are limits, which are well documented outside these forums, regarding the game engine and problems with it. If 4 people can do Warpriest/ golgy alone, seasoned or not, then its not broken at all in my opinion. People moan COE isnt a challenge and Destinys too easy then they moan when we have to make slight changes to do things. TBH you obviously can have a mature discussion and its refreshing but I think a raid should involve communication, and not set periods of hardscoping, to complete it. I certainly know getting my 12 sleeper rounds made the game fall into 'easy mode' and to this day its been untouched. The TOM is uneffected and thats the intended end raid gun. Even before the gear was higher than the raid we had issues carrying people as the 'no knight strat' which is easier for raid virgins was difficult cos our TOMs melted the orges too quick and any lag or slight hesitation meant they died pretty much instantly. Look at the forums last week...challenge of elders was too easy, why isnt there matchmaking for it? I said to people look...trust Bungie a bit and give it time and now people can see why there isnt matchmaking and it wasnt as easy as they first thought. Most the community enjoy it still. In fact ive had an influx of people on my friendslist come back to it and they all say its the smoothest its been. I spent my youth playing commodore 64 so to me losing a few bullets or having to change my fav gun aint gonna stop me playing a game i enjoy. Day i stop liking/ enjoying it is day i eject it and play something else.
