Haven't really played in a while, can anyone tell me if its worth coming back to use Hawkmoon? Or will I just be disappointed?
Edit: I'd be interested both in PvP and PvE impressions. How's the effective range for PvE? With armor perks how much reserve do you get now?

It's pretty awesome. But like I've seen with most hand cannons, there are some phantom bullets every now and then
-
Not spectacular, but a lot of fun.
-
Its amazing now

I wouldn't call it great but it's still a good weapon. I just got The Devil You Know a couple of nights ago and am loving it in pvp. Same punch but much more stable. Far easier to land head shots with.

Edited by JonahTalks: 4/19/2016 6:08:31 PMNope. it's a below average hand cannon that people saw got a range buff so they started trying it again. not noticeably better. I guess you could use it in PvE though. But you could use a Down and Doubt and get the same results for PvE lol.

Decent for PvE, but still sucks in PvP. Its final accuracy is pure shit.

15 RepliesIt needs another +10 range and +10 stability in order for it to warrant its exotic slot. Basically what I'm saying is that they should return Hawkmoon to year 1 stats, but keep the nerf on the lucky bullets.

Pve it's great again pvp it still sucks
-
Dusted it off...tried it out....infused it into something else.
-
It's better but i find I get more ghost bullets with it then my imago and finnala.
-
1 ReplyYes, but still not like year 1.

Edited by TimeOfUniverse: 4/19/2016 5:48:05 PMI think so, but it could always be better.
-
Pretty good tbh if you have good accuracy you could dominate with the weapon
-
1 ReplyEdited by cryo: 4/19/2016 5:36:46 PMIt still fires blank shots
-
3 RepliesListen to someone with 7000+ hawkmoon kills. Its great again in both pve and pve.
-
It's in a good place. Stability is not good and it's hard to control the recoil if you are moving while shooting. If you are used to it then you can kick ass.
-
1 ReplyStill suffers from PBS and is noticeable better. Imo the right rolled Eyasluna is still the better choice, especially if you want to use your exotic for something else.
-
1 ReplyAvid hAwkmoon user in year 1 reporting in. After the recent patch I tried it again and am back to eyaluna. The gun is still not worth the exotic slot in fact it hinders my ability to do well because it's still broken

1 ReplyRange is better. Accuracy is still meh
