No there isn't, the ammo economy is appalling in PvE at the moment.

There are, snipers just get smaller capacity to hold it all at once. I've noticed a huge improvement in special ammo drops.

Not enough if I go from holding 23 shots to 16 then it should be raining special bricks not popping synths and going halfway through every pve activitie with no special ammo

Or you could change guns, not all the specials got their decks reduced.

Yea I know It's kinda ridiculous how sleep stimulant holds more ammo than a 1k yard stare

But ALL snipers did, I like sniper rifles and I used to hold 23-25 rounds now I hold 15. How am I meant to spray into a boss with that?

Use a fusion rifle? Sorry snipers aren't just best at everything any more but the choice to use them was meaningless back when they were just best at everything. Now they have a downside so you have to choose between spike damage or consistency.

I like snipers. Did you read that sentence? My snipers rarely (if ever) leave my special slot. I'm not using a fusion rifle because bungie screwed up!

Well if you like them what's the issue? You didn't just like them because they were overpowered surely? Funny how so many people "Just like the Thorn, no really, it's nothing to do with how good it is!" Snipers previously had no downside, now they have one but are still viable for spike damage and ranged combat. If you don't like that role you might need to adapt and try another weapon. I like bad juju. doesn't mean I use it constantly, or accept and work around it's weaknesses.
