Just a curious Guardian

So, when the April Update was announced, I was all for it. I was excited for the changes coming to weapons, the new challenges I could face within the Prison of Elders, and kind of excited about the story regarding what have the Taken been doing since their king was slain. As I watched the live streams, the new armor sets caught my attention. Not only do I believe they are the two best sets Bungie has created, but why were they only obtainable from the Sterling Treasure boxes? Now, before you start saying that I am one of the people yelling "Pay to Win!", Just hear me out. We have two new sets that were released in the April Update, the Spektar set, and the Desolate set. Both of the sets interested me because there were new ways to express myself as a Guardian. I questioned how we were able to obtain this gear after viewing the first screenshots when the April update was announced. Now onto the highly controversial topic of the Sterling Treasure Boxes. I don't mind the Sterling Treasure Boxes, nor do I think the gear they offer is Pay to Win. This is because we have alternate ways of getting the boxes, like doing a Crucible match or finishing some rounds in the Prison of Elders. But I was curious to see that the Spektar and Desolate sets were ONLY obtainable in these boxes. This worried me. This only worried me because getting gear and looking incredible is why most Guardians play Destiny. To defeat that boss, finish that strike, and see what kind of armor of weapon you can get out of it. But after the April Update, the two coolest looking sets in the game are being purchased right at the beginning, and everyone is running around with their Spektar and Desolate armor on respectively. I have no issue with the Spektar armor being in the Eververse store inside the Sterling Treasure Boxes, but the Desolate armor, in my opinion, should of been left as drops in the new Challenge of the Elders. This would of pushed people to go back to the prison, and obtain an incredible set of armor that would of made the replayability of the prison not so much of a grind. Would you agree that the Spektar armor should of been the armor introduced in the Eververse store? And the Desolate armor have been the "End Game" tier in the Challenge of the Elders? Let me know in the comments below.
