Scientists at rice university have developed a way to make carbon nanotubes self-assemble in a dish using a powerful Tesla coil transformer circuit. Similar to graphene, carbon nanotubes are considered “supermaterials” with many potential applications but they have yet to be implemented on a wide scale. This new development will allow scientists to build circuits without actually touching them, marking a major step forward for potential uses of the material.
-blam!- yeah. Science.
the video is about 3 min. Worth watching.
Gotta love science. How do we make this thing do what we want? Zap it with lightning!

False and homosexual

I wonder what the actual extent of the usefulness of this method of construction is. Like, could it be used to make really complex circuits even within a small space, or is this going to end up being more of a theoretical finding? I imagine fine-tuning the method will be brutal.

Meanwhile, in Saudi Arabia: You are sentenced to 1 month in prison because you kissed your girlfriend on the cheek. Science is fantastic. This is awesome. Great job to these guys.
-
I understood very little of that.
-
Speaking of graphene, I hear you can substitute aluminum for it in hydrogen fuel cells and produce the same effect. Is that true?
-
Ha rice
-
I already know about carbon-nanotubes because of their potential application in automobiles... My only knowledge base.
-
Saved for later. I remember the graphene hype train that died down quickly due to its scarcity. Maybe this route might produce better results.
-
But can it suck my dick?
-
Science is pretty cool.

I have a friend in biochemistry who makes carbon nanotubes all the time he might get a kick out of this

*single clap* Wow, so now Tesla is finally getting his lime light? Great job, Rice! You're 100yrs out of date.

Edited by Woupsea: 4/18/2016 5:17:13 AMIf scientists wanted to I'm pretty sure they could convince us that their inventions are actually products of magic, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference lol.

One of these days the video will be Rick Astley. I guarantee it.

At least we still have one user with some sense in him here on offtopic. Gg m8

Bump for science.
