Is it possible to beat CoE below the recommend light?
Currently sitting at 316. Have a good mixture of weapons that would bring me 315 at the lowest. With small arms on this week the difficulty doesn't seem overwhelming. Has anyone done this yet with a group who has all been around 315? Thanks!

I'm gonna ignore some of the bs said here yes you [b]might[/b] be able to solo it the first round is a joke. Round 2 is a bit more difficult fire everywhere and wizards to come in to try to finish you If you get pinned. Acolytes taken but wont use abilities easy kills. The final round [b]is[/b] where things get the most difficult at your light the adds [b]will[/b] 2 shot you at max armor. Warlocks may be able to tank three with ram and subclass armor buff but I haven't tried yet. The boss tickles but the adds hit [b]hard[/b] play it safe and you should turn out fine I'd still recommend a buddy though no reason not to get one.

In short yes. I have done it solo several times at 320 to 325. I consider myself a decent player. But a mediocre group of 315 should be able to easily complete this week's coe.

14 RepliesThis week its easy to do below 320. Very easy and the final round is recommended light of 330 but you dont feel the difference as your power is increased with small arms. I completed it on my second account as a 313. So yeah, you can do it. The only question is that next reset it could be alot different. This week could have been very easy modifiers to get us the feeling of what CoE is. So next week it could be alot harder or just as easy. We will see.

I was 316 with a 308 and 302 the first Poe challenge we did...went pretty smoothly

Challenge of the Elders is soft. You can solo it at like 315, so go for it dude. It's easy money and you can farm it for 315+ level blues

Solo'd at 314 took me ~20 minutes. Definitely doable.

I soloed halfway through the Hive boss wearing a year one Saint 14 that dropped me to LL 295.

I two manned it me being 309 and my friend was 311 So yeah It's definitely possible

Yes I carried two people that were 308 and 313 through so you should be fine

I solo'd it with my warlock and high scored over 40,000.

Dude, you could 2 man it at 315. Me and my friend have 2 manned at least 4x this week and neither of us were above 315 at any point. Just take your time, and you should be done in 30 minutes no problem.

2 RepliesMany of us have repeatedly solo'd it at 310 or so - you'll be fine. Only sticky part is the dual wizards that come out with each wave of reinforcements in round two. A solar HMG is recommended to take their shields down ASAP.

I soloed the whole thing without realising I was doing the challenge mode. It was very very easy.

I soloed the first round at 305....gave up on round 2.
