Why bother even giving this game a MM option?
After reading the Game Informer magazine Halo: Reach can't have multiplayer because it'll be way to messed up. First off back to just plasma grenades and frags? No spike grenades or firebombs? Does Bungie even know that they are still different on how they effect a fight? Apparently not. The needle rifle? three hits to super combine and explode? It's basically an insta needler with better aim and accuracy. Then armor abilities instead of equipment? Oh wait and they recharge? wtfh? Oh my cloaking ran out I'll just go hide till I can be invisible again. Oh my over shield is gone time to go hide. Aww my bubble shield is depleted time to recharge it. Oh teh noz! My shield re generator is gone! Run and Recharge! Seriously wtfh? How will a trip mine work? Will it regenerate? .... They literally made MM imposable for this game. Oh and lets not forget the DMR the one shot weapon. What is the point? It helps to further unbalance they game. Gees Bungie make it even harder to play. Let us only play MM as grunts and jackals and drones why don't ya? Seriously like it would matter? Everyone would just grab camo, over shield, and bubble shield armor attachments and be invincible anyways.

just because its in campaign doesn't mean its going to be in multiplayer. Example: in MW2, the dragonov was in campaign but not in multiplayer. go ahead and flame me. i like both games just the same

There will be multiplayer because 90% of the fan base are immature arses like you who wouldn't give a crap about the campaign if not there were achievements. Also, stop -blam!-ing. The beta hasn't even come out yet. Bungie will find a way to balance things.

[/quote] no they are not. you pick them up and swap them like equipment, but unlike equipment they can be reused after a cooldown. they have confirmed sprint and cloaking. that is nothing like cod, which has constant, unswappable, passive benefits that you pick rather than find

Blame Stosh. Honestly, the Beta isn't out, really all the things that GI and Edge said were opinions, we saw ONE level. The Brutes could still be in the game, you never know. Bungie knows what their doing, not all the equitment will be rechargeable. What if they were just single use, but you could use them when ever you wanted? Except for sprint of course. Also for the DMR single shot =/= insta kill

You are the idiot sir and/or madam.[/quote] if the DMR isnt a 1 hit kill, what is wrong with it? it is like the BR, but shoots single shots instead of bursts. they said in a weekly update it takes more skill at close range than the BR did. and yeah they stated the needler rifle was 3 shots after shields are down after you made the thread... so who is the idiot for jumping to conclusions? so if you were wrong about the needle rifle... perhaps there will NOT be an armour ability of bubble shield, regen and tripmines? because they are more than equipment with cooldowns, you would think sprint would show you that. basically, the only thing on your list that wasnt a total (rubbish) assumption was the grenade bit, and that isnt a game destroying thing, its just a mild annoyance [Edited on 01.31.2010 6:12 AM PST]
