Anyone worried that three of coins is just a waste?
I used 100 three of coins today, only got 5 exotics. Anyone else having this issue please comment below!
Edit: Thanks for your thoughts. Makes me feel a bit better.

I don't use them vey much any more. Maybe 10 a week and I get 1 or 2 exotics. I actually prefer xur to sell an exotic engram then I stock up on them.

yea its a hoax. iv gotton 5 exotic guantlet and a chest piece engram after 30+ coins. wth? can i get some weapons instead? lol.

1 ReplyWow that's bad luck bud. I average 1 exotic every 3-5 coins. Are you using them wrong? I have one up for any ultra I kill, be it in patrol, strikes, poe (my favorite way to use them)...I just got 2 exotics to drop from one coe boss today. Plus exotics now decrypt above your current light, so that means constant level increases. Just keep them active Gaurdian.

I used ten didn't get one exotic. Not on crucible. Not on strikes. I used ten for each game mode. Nothing. I WANT A REFUND😡

I farmed draksis, used 103 coins in just over an hour and got 16 exotics, 122 ether seeds 124 house banners. Used ether seeds for heavy and ranked up a faction and got a 324 primary. Didn't get the meteor though so will need to try again on Friday.

I just replied to someone else's comment, but this is what I do: after every interval of around 3-5 games of being in the same crucible/strike playlist, I pop 1 3oC right before it ends. I usually get an exotic. Anywhere between 1-3 3ofC is all it takes.

1 ReplyI'm still in the ~7 coins per exotic. I just use them every 3rd or 4th strike or every 3rd or 4th crucible match. And yes, that's accurate (for me). I actually keep track on a little notepad on my coffee table :-)

3 of coins is the only thing I buy from xur. Pop one every crucible match, teir 3 court, PoE, strike, and raid. I've been playing trials all morning and have already gotten 4 or5 exotics. About a week ago, I grouped with 7 or 8 other people and took turns doing teir 3 court. I got 6 in a row that day. But, there have also been a ton of times I've burned through all my 3oC and got 1 or 2 exotics.

I got only 2 drops yesterday but when I did I got double exotics... This was in pvp/trials so I am not sure!

So I'm gonna be that guy... But in the last 30 3oC I've used, I've gotten 9 exotics so I've been pretty hyped. Generally (pre-update), I've had decent luck with 3oC anyway, usually getting one exotic every 6-8 coins.

Used 10 yesterday in pvp, at the near end of every 2 matches to cater for the cool down. Got one primary and one helm engram. The drop rate is still too low and doesnt do justice to the time and effort put into doing 20 pvp matches straight.

Nah man. Just ran a few herioc Strikes, popped about 4 3oC got 2 exotics one after the other. [spoiler]And I finally got Devouring Maw! xD[/spoiler]
