Mini-Boss under the Giants Tower
Lately in DS3, I've fought some sort of mini-boss under the tower with the giant inside, but can't kill it. Can I just run past the enemy or is there an easier way? I'm playing as a Warrior, and the Axe doesn't even stun it. Doesn't help that it does Frostbite Damage either.

1 ReplyHe actually doesn't have that much health, but his attacks are hyper aggressive and if you try tanking them with a shield you'll get wasted. Run past and touch that bonfire behind the door, then keep hammering at him two handing your weapon

3 RepliesYou can send the elevator up when you get down there. Bait the knight so he follows you back to the hole for the elevator, stand on the other side of the hole he will try to attack you and fall in. Probably should fight him straight up but this is my first souls game so I don't care how I kill some enemies.

There's a bonfire behind the door in the back of the room, just run past him

4 RepliesI faced him once and decided, "screw this guy, I'll come back later." (He easily killed me) the mid level of the tower gives you another path, I'm exploring that now.

1 ReplyI haven't tried it before but you could always try to quickly get past him and open the doors (not sure if they can be opened without killing the enemy first though). There's a bonfire directly on the other side and I'd assume that the Frost Knight won't follow through the doors. In all honesty though I'd just keep at it until you kill the bastard. He drops a pretty sweet Frost sword. Fire is your friend. I baited him and took him down with bombs.

Edited by UndeadGrizzly: 4/14/2016 5:33:30 PMSo there are two ways to deal with this guy if you can't beat him one on one. The staircase leading off the elevator that curves right has a corner that is a great place to trap the knight. Have him chase you, run up the stairs and try to get him stuck in the groove of those stairs. He should swing at you but be trapped, allowing you to chuck firebombs and spells to your hearts content. If that isn't your cup of tea, I've seen two people successfully kill him and get the souls/sword by luring him to the elevator, having him actually go up the stairs, and just raising the elevator platform. If done correctly, he will chase you and fall into the elevator shaft you just opened when you took it up, killing him instantly.
