[BUNGIE] RESOLVED: 4/18: Issues impacting Sterling Treasure delivered via Postmaster

[b]UPDATE 4/18[/B] Hello all. With the release of [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/44668/7_Destiny-Hot-Fix---4182016]Destiny Hotfix 2.2.0.1.1[/url], issues impacting the dispersal of Sterling Treasure via Postmaster should be resolved. You may be required to sign into Destiny once more for this Hotfix to be applied. Once installed, a Sterling Treasure will be available through the Postmaster for those who did not receive one when first logging in after accepting Update 2.2.0. Players will receive one Postmaster Sterling Treasure each week, per account Inspecting Character Gear on Bungie.net or the Companion App will ensure delivery of Weekly Postmaster Sterling Treasures. To verify, you may inspect the Postmaster to see the Sterling Treasure within. This will also resolve the issue where some players did not receive the Chroma Grimoire Card. We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience on this matter. If you were impacted by this issue, please note the information below.   • Bungie, didn't know if you were aware, but Malok is dropping Legendary Engrams in his Nightfall (from his body after death). According to the Patch Notes on 10/20/15, Nightfall bosses are only supposed to drop their unique loot or Rares. Just thought you should know.

  • #help According to the hot fix, only those who logged in between 0200 and 1000 pdt will receive the fix. I was not able to log in that day until 1600 Alaska time, and did not receive my sterling treasure. Are those like me also included, or is it limited to the guardians who logged in in the aforementioned 8 hour window?

      I installed the update but I am still not able to get sterling treasure. The issue doesn't seemed fixed for me.

        • Glad to see the issue is being addressed since it is a free weekly gift that is not really "earned" as the other 2 weekly sterling boxes are. One question though, why implement the fix in this way that has such a short window for so many affected people to have to log in and receive it? Wouldn't it be easier to just add 200 silver to each of the affected accounts? Thanks for making such a great game.

        • Put them sterling treasures in my postmaster now. Some of us have to work for a living and can't access the game whenever you say it's okay. It's a good game but I'm sick of stuff not working for me. One more -blam!- up and I'm gone.

          • Downloaded the update just now and received a sterling treasure from the postmaster on my hunter - thank you for that! I see there is a clarification on the release notes that the postmaster will have 1 sterling treasure box [b]per account[/b] upon the weekly reset. That certainly helps set expectations going forward, and no doubt the hotfix is designed to ensure it is per account. All that said, the guardian community understands upon updating on April 12th, numerous guardians received sterling treasure [b]per character[/b] rather than per account. So for those of us who were adversely impacted by the bug (0 treasure boxes initially) as opposed to positively impacted by the bug (<=3 treasure boxes), is that going to be addressed? If not by the patch today, then by our [i]unknown benefactor[/i]? Or not at all? Would be great if we could get clarification either way!

            • I can not get into destiny , even though my connection is good I try all the time in the game makes me that there is no available servers, and not even looking , and restarted my PlayStation , router, and called my company phone and nothing, I still can not connect to the game and loe tried everything and not to do .that I can do to fix it ?

            • so when I downloaded the update, I first logged onto my Hunter, and he did not receive a Sterling Package. However, both my Warlock and my Titan did get one each from the Postmaster. Will I get one on my Hunter, or was it supposed to be only on one whole account, not across multiple characters?

            • Just downloaded patch, rebooted and NO sterling treasure box. Why do you do this Bungie WHY?!? I knew it wouldn't work though because the premise you posted for the reason you screwed up the treasure boxes did not apply to me. I never logged in during those times. You have another error. You need to fix it TODAY since you waited til the last minute for this failing attempt at a patch.

                Didn't everyone get a treasure box on each character? If so it looks like Bungie is fine ripping off some of their customers. It is a petty treasure box but you need to be fair to all that paid for the game!!!

              • Apparently not only is the "free" postmaster package only one per account, so is the reward for 41 PoE and Weekly Crucuble playlist. Talk about extending the grind. It almost makes me believe that Bungie is more interested in selling these Sterling Treasures than giving them as rewards, but that could not be.... could it?
