Edited by DeathBringerZen: 4/14/2016 2:00:54 AMyou're part of the problem when in comes to micro-transactions. You try to justify them as a means for "free" DLC. You're stupid enough to believe that garbage? Hell mend you.
-
I'm not saying it's good I'm just saying the idiots that do end up buying $20 is paying for this stuff
-
Nothing is free and micro-transactions didn't fund this update. It was made genuinely out of desperation. Destiny 2 was given an extra years development time because Bungie bit off More than they could chew and now they are forcibly pushing out linear content to bid their time until they can produce an unplanned DLC drop come Sept/Oct. The micro-transactions implementation is down to greedy Activision. Bungie are their bitch for the next 10 years.
-
And all the exotics that are being held back that were in the TTK trailers, to get people to buy TTK. Now we won't see them until the fall, because it's Bungie's "cut content to make new content later" to try and trick people to buy it.
-
True but they said there would be no paid dlc but smallere free dlc funded by micro transactions
-
Edited by DeathBringerZen: 4/14/2016 2:20:29 AMNo, that was retracted by Bungie soon after it was reported. It was an ill-informed report. The next DLC drop that is due in Sept/Oct will definitely be a paid DLC and almost guaranteed to be in the same price range as TTK.
-
They never said that.
-
Yeah they did
-
Edited by JOKERMAN: 4/14/2016 2:13:51 AMThey said micro transactions would help fund these smaller events. Never did they say there would be free dlc.
-
Ok, it's paying for shit. And your point?
-
Would rather have no dlc or a paid dlc with even longer periods in between
-
Yep, would be better in the long run for gamers.
