I wouldn't know where to begin with that, though I do know it would involve an engine like Unity.

I had a friend who got really into 3D printing until the material got too expensive. He showed me a few interesting geometric structures, a Bulbasaur planter, and this device that he could put over 6 shot glasses that would fill them all up equally. It was some pretty cool stuff.
