Is there any gear close to 335 in this game? This patch sucks!
I've done the PoE challenge. I'm only getting gear at 325 max.
I did the Golgoroth challenge, and the drops are at 325, not worth the struggle.
I've opened a shit load of engrams, and nothing has been above 325.
I farmed the court of Oryx.
Warlock can still pop Titan bubble with Landfall.
The extra sniper bullet perk on armor only grants 1 additional bullet with max of 2 additional bullets.
Sniper and machine gun ammo has been reduced dramatically for pve activities. Can't pvp and pve be separated.
Sniper rifles are just a snappy. There is no change to them.
The Zhalo had its ammo capacity reduced!

1 ReplyLight drops are relative to your light level. So they will only be a bit higher than your light. When they say can drop up too 335 that means you have to be around 330 light already for that to happen.

2 RepliesI'm 329 on my warlock and give all engrams to the whore lock. I had a 330 light b y nemesis and a 330 ram. I know once I hit 330 it's the flood gates for 335. That's the one thing I LOVE about the update is 1:1 infusion. It's amazing .

Really? I did the golgoroth challenge and got some 328-331 gear. Try hard mode perhaps?

I think the gear drops close to your light level. What I've been doing is working on getting one character to a higher light level and earning gear with that character to transfer over to my others for infusion. I've got my hunter to 330 without doing the raid yet. Faction packages help but make sure you boost your light as high as you can when you open them. Also boost your light when turning in exotic engrams and transfer exotic engrams to your highest light character to decrypt.

I have a friend who is 334 after the first day. If you play it right you will earn higher light gear easier. This friend had 1.2k motes of light, and raised his rep about 5-6 times for higher light gear out of packages. Then he did the poe, and got even higher light gear from that. After that he did the raid 2x. Now all his characters are over 330. Strategy, not luck

You're guaranteed to get better gear than what you're wearing. This is how it should have been done when they switched to the current light system with TTK.

With the smart loot system, you must be 325 in order to get 330+ drops. The raid is the best way to accomplish this. Run it on a toon, but DO NOT infuse your gear. Wear what you get, finish the raid and then give it to your next toon and infuse that toon's gear. Do the same thing with that character. Infuse the gear you acquired from your third toon to your first toon. You'll level fairly quick.

Drops get higher and higher light levels as your guardians light increases, that's why you stop seeing greens drop after 290-300. And considering challenge of elders gives hard mode quality drops every run, ID say this patch is a massive improvement towards progression. Play the content and pray for RNG, it's the same process as grinding the raid each week but better because of infusion changes.

Gotten my best drops from Vendor packages so far but my light level on most of my characters is barely above 310

I've been getting 227 and I've got 2 330's. I did the Poe and 1 raid and I'm 328 maybe it's lucky idk but it could also be the light at which you were when you got the gear or opened a legendary engram

Because your light Lv is low what I've seen that exotic & PoE rewards drop at a high light than what you have. Be max light before claiming anything.

It all depends how you play my friend. If you decrypt stuff after you hit an extra 5 light, you'll get an extra 5 light. They made it more progressive than before the update
