Anyone having trouble receiving the At the Gates quest from Variks
I have no idea why I can't get the quest
(Quest does not pop up for me)

I have the original story with dread fang done etc. How do I get the "BOOK VERSION of the QUEST" I ran it solo beat it w no problems but nothing happened in the book. I'm missing something, is it the raid? Because it's not that easy to find 5 other people who communicate and try to help others by simply giving a quick explanation. There is a difference between the day 1 destiny players & that of those that just picked it up in last few months. New players jump in front of you like your taking there kill. When most of the time it's not that big of a deal. If your close enough you still get paid. If you got at least one round off into the target you'll get the assist. I digress any ideas on why I can't do" ENEMY AT THE GATES " ? For the book, as in do it a second time to get award for completing it & return to prison. Thanks.

4 RepliesI have a even stranger issue. I already conpeted this quest but its not visible in the age of triumph book. Already got a sword from crucible guy and i got the taken sword from variks. I made 2 new chars but i somehow dont want to grind all these quests again...

1 ReplyI know why. You have to finish The Taken King Story first. Then in Saturn, you have to do the Dreadnaught Patrol. You will place 3 beacons and do some task after each one has been place along the Dreadnaught. After that, you will need 25 hedium flakes for the Crucible guy at the Tower. He will let you then buy any of the 3 Edge Swords. Buying any of them will make you available to get the "At The Gates" quest from Veris at the Reef, and from there you can get your sword "The Dreadfang".

Been having the same problem nothing has worked unlocked the patrol but it didnt help

3 RepliesI had trouble with this too. I finally got it by unlocking the Patrol The Dreadnaught. Afterwards Viraks had the quest to give. Hope this helps

This happened to me on my Hunter, not my Titan, and it also happened to my friend. We're placing the beacons on the Dreadnaught for Patrol now, I'll reply if it works. Make sure to edit this solution into the title, OP!

Same with me. No quests. I have completed all the quests and have all the Patrols open. Not sure what to do anymore.

4 RepliesSame thing happened to me. Logged on with my second Hunter and didnt have the quest at the Reef. I think it may be due to not having certain quests completed.

I haven't received the quest either. Is this a bug? Or is something incomplete preventing the quest from appearing?

Pretty sure that if you didn't do the old how quests these new ones don't pop up, that's what I've been finding so far.
