Yea new perks, but weapons still drop at 265 light when your 316 light character opens a rep package

At least you received current gear. Two of my rep packages had yr 1 gear, in the original yr 1 format. Gotta love that 140 light.

When YOUR character opens one. MINE got a 325 New Monarchy shotgun. Maybe its your faction... [i]~ForeverGunslinger[/i]

Not for me. All of my reward packages opened with gear higher than my light level. Cryptarch decoded some engrams at lower levels, but exotics always went above my current level as well.

Yeah same here. But I was disappointed when my legendary engram turned into a 295 havoc pigeon when I was 316 light. The sidearm and light level was a major letdown. I wanted that LDR lol.
