Why is it even possible to one shot a self res?
The super sets up a free headshot kill, it literally feeds whatever ass clown has their thousand yard stare out. Its hysterical to me that once you activate it, your basically begging for a free shot in the face. It is WAY too easy to do it, this problems been around since the discovery of this shit in trials of osiris. It completely belittles the point of self reviving only to be shit on before you're even out of the animation! Gdi bungo.

1 ReplyThen don't pop self res right away. Wait for the opportune moment to do it. Or don't run self res. Run Radiant Skin instead. Or don't use a Sunsinger.

I mean self-res shouldn't be a thing in Trials. I know that it's the bread n' butter of the Sunsinger, but it's Trials. I understand why it is there for PVE, but self-res in PVP is ridiculous

If you pop your super before you die, you should he able to kill them before they kill you

You want to res when the opponents are focusing on the last team mate and then pop it before you're the last man standing. Make an effort to [i]not[/i] give a sniper a free OHK...

1 ReplySelf res is reactionary unlike any other super you die in the first place to be able to do it. Something like that isn't a good idea to rely on when up against players of any decent skill level.

Why is it possible to revive yourself? Why are there revives in an elimination game mode? Why does one evade ability prevent tracking and turn you invisible, while the other is simple movement? Why do snipers have different aim assistance values? Why don't spawns rotate during trials matches? Why are wet going to enter y3 of this game before we know about the sequel? Why did the 2 pve streams from Bungie a few weeks ago have 15,000-18,000 live views while the single pvp stream had well over 75,000? Why did bungie disable quiver to fix it being abused, yet claim not to know what to do about viking funeral? Why are striker titans the only subclass in the entire game able to max out a stat using perks within the subclass tree? Why is there an artifact entitled "Ahamkara scale" with the caption "and that warlock thought I couldn't do it. Hah!", when I've heard that only warlocks were able to kill Ahamkara?

Maybe you should stop spamming that self-revive button the second you go down. Like all supers, it should be used tactically when it can have the maximum impact. If you die out in the open and some guy is hard scoped on your orb, of course you're going to be killed the second you pop back up. It's the smart counter-play to self res, and you're the idiot for falling for it. In that situation, just respawn normally and save it for a different time, like when you're in the middle of a group of unsuspecting enemies.

That's called the other team strategising.... If they know you have a self-revive, of course they're going to prepare for you using it...... Don't die in the first place or use it more wisely.

Because you don't just self res whilst a sniper is staring you down. You should play your self res better when you'll actually make a difference.

Yeah I've just levelled up my warlock to play trials. First game out got headshot sniped on self Rez. That was a downer when I thought o would own their sorry asses covered in glorious radiance. Back to my hunter then....

Idk if its just me but supers should be used stategically. Any weak-minded monkey could activate super, but if you use it wisely i garuntee you will see the diference.
