As someone you runs raids very frequently for randoms just to help when I'm done..I have to say I am really bothered by how many people run trials and they have nothing better to do than be an ass for no reason. Look I get it, you're better than me. Cool it is what it is but why do most of you have to be so blam-ing rude about it? I'm not good at pvp I openly admit it. I'm a very skilled and outgoing pve player that loves to help people when most do not. I run raids for people when I can no longer get rewards just to help out. It grinds my gears how many trials players just have to be rude when not even provoked. There is no etiquette or decency whatsoever. You guys that act like this do realize you are affecting the community as a whole right? I like this community and am constantly trying to make it better. I don't expect the same from everyone but maybe some of you could consider the fact that a lot of us are trying to get better and don't necessarily need to be kicked when we're already down. Where's the love?

5 Repliesall you raid runners do is complain about competitive PVP players, stop being butthurt and crying about it on the forums, there's only one thing that'll change all this, go f u c k i n g practice . Most PvPers put in lots of time, and we don't sit here and complain about the raid runners, we get into the crucible and improve ourselves, maybe you should do the same

2 RepliesThere is no culture of sportsmanship in video games. So lots of these kids----because they never actually played REAL sports-----never learned how to be competitive WITHOUT being assholes about it. They don't know how to turn that competitiveness OFF when its inappropriate. They don't know how to lose with dignity or win with grace. Life's just one big reality-TV show that they're the star of....and everyone else is just part of their cast of extras.

1 ReplyI agree 100%. Most of them are elitist pricks that shove their noses in the air and plague the lfg site and others with their Elo numbers and K D numbers.Honestly I would love to achieve flawless 1 time and then never do it again. I play just to try and collect all the armor pieces for all 3characters and complete bounties along the way. I ring it kinda funny how Bungie noticed that people were excluding and alienating people in Y 1 just because they had no Gallahorn in all kinds of events. So they then gave everyone a Gally from xur and eventually nerfed it to make it unusable when taken king came out because they didn't like how people were treating other people in the community but Trials is doing the same exact thing and it's okay. It's always only inv or join if you have the flawless emblem(same as Gally) or only if you have above 1.0 Kd (same as Gally) or only if you have a certain ELO number. In other words you can't play unless you have a Gally or a flawless emblem or a Kd ratio we deem appropriate or an ELO that is high enough. See what I am saying? ITS ALL THE SAME DISRESPECTFUL,IGNORANT, ELITIST CRAP. SO BUNGIE WILL YOU ADRESS THIS ISSUE WITH THE TRIALS PLAYERS OR IS IT JUST CERTAIN RULES FOR CERTAIN PEOPLE. I played trials once with 2guys from lfg and we did decent. Got to 8-0. We friended each other. The next time we played Not so good together. The 1guy got mad because I couldn't res him in time before we all died and we lost the whole match. When we went to orbit I got booted from the party 1st,then the fireteam, then he removed the friendship status all within 30seconds or so. I HAVENT PLAYED TRIALS SINCE AND DONT PLAN TO EITHER.

After an intense match I send a message saying "Good game!" but I only started doing this 2 months ago...

7 RepliesI agree. I never got hate mail y1 and I played trials every week. Now I get hate mail whenever I beat a team after 5-0. There's no sportsmanship anymore. I used to get "good game" or "well played" messages or friend requests after a good game. Now I can almost predict when Im gonna get called a scrub because people are sore losers
i know it probably sounds pretty braggy but I'm not trying to.
Edited by Impurity41: 4/13/2016 5:35:05 AMIf I'm fighting someone, get shot from behind from another guy, then that guy dances or tbags me, I just laugh. He's bragging because he killed me when I was busy fighting someone else. It's like bragging about beating up a blind person. You just don't do it

LOOK AT THIS from the -blam!-ing update notes; "Players can now highlight (R-Stick Click) player ghosts, allowing a user to inspect & target emotes at a downed player's ghost" Bungie wants people to be unsportsmanlike. There's something seriously wrong with this developer.

Never let morons get to you op. Just do what i do and mute them. They're not even worth responding to.

16 RepliesWell said, well spoken. I have to imagine the majority are children. Although I won't exonerate their behavior, it is what they see in this toilet bowl culture created in the U.S. These kids are subject to what they see, thug culture is the norm and with that comes the arrogant respect me but I don't respect you mindset. They're subjected to watching sports where their team is down by 26 points and one thug scores a touchdown and proceeds to celebrate as if they just won the Super Bowl. Additionally, theyve grown up in front of a TV screen and most likely have rarely if at all, never done anything physical in their young lives.....certainly one of those being defending themselves in a schoolyard scuffle. I'm sure Mommy would run to school screaming about bullying...lol. Simply stated, they've been inherently taught to be disrespectful, and that is a sad reflection.

Too is a sweaty fest of sweaty try hards slapping eachothers sweaty bodies together and making the gay. Rumble is where men fight

17 RepliesAll the hate coming from people that suck at trials is funny, if you dont like the fact people ask for requirements when joining a team eg. 1.5kd and you send a req anyway, then you get hate back for wasting peoples time then that's your own fault. People want to go flawless in a decent time not spend hours playing with morons on multiple different cards wasting passage coins Unless there pro doing carrys lmao

2 RepliesHow exactly where they rude to you? It's just a video game don't let it get to you so much. Just ignore them.
-
1 ReplyThey need to lock it after you hit Mercury for each character. You got the same guys running ppl through for twitch streams over and over. That's the problem with trials period.
-
Welcome to competitive gaming. Where 90% of people just play the game and then there's that 10% who are just toxic as shit. Either don't reply or get good enough that you shit stomp them when you find them. That's all you can do.

You must realize that a large majority of this community are kids ages 12-20. Meaning that etiquette, good reasoning, and manners are lost in great numbers. It is aggravating, but it's the reality of this society. Values are lost. Understanding is non existent. Choose to ignore the ignorant, or it will be a constant frustration. I always remind myself it's just a video game. Just enjoy the ride brother.

1 ReplyI've always called it Tryhards of Osiris for a reason. That reason, much like those "massholes" will never change.

I agree with you and I'll quote the guy before me.
You must realize that a large majority of this community are kids ages 12-20. 14 RepliesAgreed, this kind of attitude was annoying enough I never even attempted trials. It brought out the worst, most toxic tryhards in the game.

Trust me I totally understand where your comming from, but these are children (Noobs) that generally don't have a social life with real friends, they love to troll others and belittle them so it makes them feel good or somewhat superior etc 9/10 they are insecure in life and reflect onto others what has probably been done to them throughout their entire life.

ToO needs matchmaking to allow a larger number of players to enter. This will water down the sweat-fest a little too by diluting the matches between a larger player and skill base. May even give the SBMM a fighting chance to do its job a little more efficiently, instead hopelessly outmatching teams.

Unless you have year 2 Gjallarhorn, GTFO. Actually, because they suck at life and are taking it out on you. People like that will live life alone and when they get old, they will have 50 cats and their houses will smell like cat piss and shit. Don't worry about them now, just laugh at them. They are miserable folks. This message brought to you by The Home Depot.

I love how other people use the term masshole.

3 RepliesI have said it before and will say it again
This community is full of know it all try hard no life having pieces of shit that think their own shit don't stink. All the MLG pro bastards who think the are Gods gift to the video game community can suck a fat one. I agree with you -blam!- em and piss on any game that forces you to play with Internet bullies. They are real -blam!-ing tough behind an Internet connection.
