Which Grasp Roll?

Roll 1: OAS Counterbalance (Yes) Braced Frame (Yes) Army of One (WTF) Roll 2: ORS Outlaw (I need fast reloading in PVP, this will work will with my gauntlets with faster pulse reloads) Hand Laid Stock (Range actually is still great) Third eye (Yes) This is mainly for PVP. EDIT: #2 It has vertical recoil by default with some shots firing straight and right. #1 recoil is straight up and down and I love that though. I like them both, however. Keeping both, however. I'll still farm until I get counter + braced + feeding OR range+ hand laid+ feeding. FUNNY #1 is popular because a lot of people told me it wasn't a great/god roll and army of one killed it.... EDIT #2: OK yall can stfu now. Didn't expect all of these replies. I'm grateful, but just stfu. Thanks to all that contributed. Thanks to all that didn't. All in all....SMD

      • I'd say Red Dot OES, feeding frenzy/outlaw, hand laid stock, and reactive reload. Or OES, headseeker, hand laid stock and feeding frenzy.

        • I vote third eye. My grasp has 3rd eye and injection mold and I've never noticed the range loss and the stability is more than fine. The gun Is a monster at close to mid range which is the hectic environment that 3rd eye shines in. That being said, I snipe with it so Maybe that's why I don't miss the range

            • Noooooooo!! The majority is wrong here! Counter balance is essential for pulse rifles with bad burst patterns, but GoM has an okay burst pattern so it isn't needed. Third eye, onthe other hand, is very useful!

              • Army of one isn't a bad perk...so long as you use your abilities often. When you have time, plan ahead and toss a grenade to prime your enemy, making the gun work that much faster. When you get surprised by an enemy up close, slap em in the face and finish up with a few rounds from your gun. Both of these scenarios help kill enemies faster and, by virtue of that perk, recover the ability to keep doing it more.

                  • Those are both good rolls. I have one I didn't think I'd like at first, but it's become one of the best pr's I've used: ORES Secret round Stability buff ( can't remember which one) Glass half full Secret round is really valuable on this type of pulse, and gives you that "little extra" more often than one would think. With the GHF its been really effective. And that sight......

                            • Jesus christ if you don't take roll 2 you're crazy i have done 50+ hours and the best i have is Ors Outlaw Hand laid Grenadier (which is basically useless) Personally third eye is amazing

                              • Go with #1. Counter balance and brace frame makes it a very solid gun. Army of one is underrated- it helps tremendously to have quicker recharge in abilities. Oh can never have too much grenades. Only way to give up that roll is: - if you get another that makes it an even more stable gun and/or better range, or - if you have some damage modifier that pushes the archetype envelope, like glass half full + headseeker.

                                  • Counter balance all the way. This shouldn't even be a question. That's a must have perk for high RoF pulse rifles. Your second roll sucks TBH. Just get reload gauntlets and wear Knucklehead helmet if you NEED radar. You never want to sacrifice range on a pulse rifle. Hand laid stock is a no no. Trust me, I've been using pulse rifles since the Timepiece in year 1. I stuck with the vendor Coiled Hiss until the most recent pulse rifle stability/range nerf. Now I use a God roll PDX-45. Counter Balance is too OP.

                                      • Army of One is pretty underrated. It's great for Warlocks and Hunters, not so much Titans though.

                                      • Roll 1 is the superior roll but it sounds like you've made up your mind. Which begs the question: why bother to ask? Grasp by default does not have a vertical recoil it pulls heavy to the side. Counterbalance completely corrects this and braced frame even reduces the amount it recoils vertically. Army of One is actually a very useful perk in PvP more grenades and melee is never a bad thing. If you want to purposely handicap your self by all means continue to use roll 2 and ignore your own poll results and all the replies here, but roll one is the clear winner.
