Is shotgun sliding a thing anymore?
Well since trials map is cq I decided to pull out the old shotgun and started sliding everywhere and to be honest I did good but what happened to people that used to slide shotgun? Is that only back in year one? Or does everyone want to try sniping nowadays? What happened?

We have never came across each other in crucible then, I love slide shot gunning but I barely see anyone doing that anymore.

My party crasher still has kneepads so I do a mix between slide/shadestep shotgun or even both to close more distance.

I get gunned out of blink, shadestep, sliding and the air strafe easily, the only thing sliding is good for, is going up sets of stairs in style.

I usually get sniped in the face mid slide

I use fleet footed for that very reason

Everyone switched to using snipers cause shot package got nerfed and snipers are better at keeping people at a distance

5 RepliesA still do it. Took me a while to figure it out. Also doesnt help that sometimes you want to slide but end up crouching like 15 feet from your enemy holding a shotgun like a deer in the headlights

I used to slide shotgun, but then I took a fist of havoc to the knee... Now i sprint snipe instead... True story.

I slide every kill I get unless if I'm on nightstalker then all hell breaks loose when I try and kill someone with a shotty

I flawlessed with a shotgun. You're not the only one who slides with one. I just don't do it as much.
