Bungie is increasing scope zoom...
Meaning people will sit further in the back of the spawn.
They will also increase ADS time, meaning more hardscoping.

Yes bungie seem to think nerfing the skilled aspect of sniping is appropriate. All this is gonna do is hurt the better players.

Hardscoping is what snipers are meant for, not quickscoping.

Yes, the are increasing the zoom on the cqb scopes. This is good. It doesn't increase the range of the scope or gun, it gives a smaller field of vision. That means if you are running through their LOS they have less time to react. Won't make a bit of difference either way if you run straight at them.

I prefer to snipe. So hard scoping doesn't exist in my book, I call it sniping. Go back to CoD.

You're right...that's why they increased zoom on only the low zoom scopes and the high zoom scopes which were under - used are unchanged. Obligatory "u wot m8?"

2 RepliesMaybe if the community didn't make Bungie nerf every weapon type there wouldn't be complaints about snipers. Bungie is equally responsible for their ridiculous weapon balancing. I'd say snipers are fine the way they are, nobody really questioned it because other guns actually killed back then.

I agree with you on both post, people are saying snipers are not for short range but let's think about this, if you have a sniper in real life and point it at someone 10 feet away are you gonna hit them? Or should your bullet do some crazy 90 degree turn away from them, people are mad bc they are getting wrecked by sniper in close quarters when they had a shot gun or are just smashing they melee button
