Hand cannons are the only weapon that get to experience phantom bullets. Its extremly frustrating to clearly have your reticle on someone, be well wothin range, and some how miss because of the bullet veering off to Africa.
This is an issue that makes Doctrine of Passing so frustratingly good. Because it doesnt have phantom bullets and users dont have to worry about waiting for the "range cone" to fix itself. You can essentially spray and play as opposed to spray and pray. Tier 1 players know this.
I genuinely hope in this update there are no more phantom bullets. It should have never been a thing, ever. I think that implementing a feature that negatively effects players that purely out of their control is part of laziness of the developers. Pure laziness. If i can skillfully track my opponent with my thumbs and reticle i should be rewarded.
If time to kill is an issue, make the range stat MORE of a factor. Meaning if i align my xhairs on someone and they are moderately far, let me do some damage to them, but also show my by the damage im doing that i need to get closer to them in order to kill them.
Phatntom bullets are based off lazy game devs. Also skill based match making sucks dick, remove it you twats.
