Tlw has counters just like any other weapon in this game. I find it funny people wanted tlw buffed because of the jolly holiday quest so Bungie buffed it. Now I see posts every day saying tlw is op and asking for nerfs. I do not think anything needs to be nerfed. Their are ways to counter and people need to realize that one strat will not work to counter every gun, you need to change your strat for every engagement.

That dude with tlw looks like he had been in that same situation in the past and was able to land all his shots if you would have hit the head shot on your first shot you would have taken him out. From that spot you trap yourself with only 2 ways to fall back and both have long jumps where you leave yourself open for the opponent to land a couple shots. I think that dude using tlw is a fairly skilled shot. It's ok to admit other players are more skilled. Posting this vid just proves that he had more skill than you, I do not see any signs in that vid of tlw being op in any way.

Hahaha what ok glad you dont balance the game. That is scout rifle, maybe pulse rifle range. Autos and hand cannons have very little effect. The lowest impact, lowest range hand cannon has that range though..? If this makes sense to you then idk

I doubt many players would be able to land those shots like buddy in the vid. If there were countless videos of showing tlw having that range I'd say something is wrong however you can't judge balance on one encounter there are a lot of factors to consider.
