Fixing the RNG once and for all

I'm not a professional I'm no expert but I did pass my programming logic and design course (barely) and what I don't understand with the random number generator is why it insists on dropping the same light level and same items over and over and over and over again. You should have a eliminitive random number generator based on light level so that when an item like a 290 exotic drops for you it is eliminated from the RNG so it will not drop any more. therefore the RNG has to tack and place the next item on its list instead of giving you the same thing over and over again once the 290 has been dropped and then the 310 has been dropped then that weapon doesn't drop anymore I can say as an avid player with hundreds and hundreds of hours on Destiny there is nothing more irritating than having four Alpha Lupis' three armamentariums, and still not have a Twilight Garrison( if you know you've already received the items that you don't want that gives you more motivation to play the game because you have the anticipation of knowing that that item is going to eventually drop for you ,not playing daily for a solid year and still not having the gallijorin drop)and you can buy it out of the kiosk, or if it's a legendary you don't get it anymore .it would actually add value and attachment to your non exotic legendary weapons it would make you be sure that you want to decrypt them before you do.
