OK, I need honest opinions from you guys, does shoulder charge seem op to you? In my last game of ion banner, This group of 3 titans kept running in circles charging up shoulder charge and was clearing objectives with it. it seems like a good strategy but having a 1 hit kill move ready in under 3 seconds seems a little bit OP in my opinion. I just think that it should have a longer cool down based on discipline, I don't want it "Nerfed to the ground." Maybe it should have 50% of your melee cool down, so if you have a 30 second storm grip cooldown, your shoulder charge should have a 15 second cool down.
As always, I'm not always right and this is just my opinion. I've played as a striker since the beta and until I got hammer of sol, and from my use, it seems a bit OP. Thank you for reading, have a nice day and do not treat my personal opinion as fact
Edit: Turns out that I was wrong about shoulder charge, my bad everyone. Just trying to ask about my opinion

1 ReplyIt does have a cooldown

2 RepliesShoulder charge is already crap. I main titan and don't even run it. It's a kamikaze move unless you're playing scrubs or 6s.
-
Maaaan I suck using sc already
-
They have to get into range. Meaning they have to run into a hail of bullets just to have a shot at it. Yea. Seems fine to me.
-
I think it's fair because Striker Titan only advantage is there neutral play.
BTW I main a Warlock
Personally I do not agree with you, as it needs to sprint to be charged, I respect that you made a well reasoned argument and openly stated that it was an opinion. I respect that, even more so here in these salt fields we call forums.

6 RepliesThe fact that Titans keep getting a pink dildo named BUNGO says enough alone that they are he most hated class in destiny. No blink. Worst supers in year one. Sunbreaker was torn apart after 3 months of ruling. How long did it take for hunters to step off that mantle? Somewhat only 4 exotics good for pvp. See a pattern?

3 RepliesYou gave a good point but I think it is a little more than 3 seconds between each charge. You also have a chance of missing the target as well. I would be okay if it had a cool down similar to shadestep.
-
3 RepliesSholder charge already has a "spin up", hit detection is garbage and it's easily countered with a shotgun. Stop whining.
-
3 RepliesLmao XD this is why kids shouldn't be allowed to post on here.

Shoulder charge already has a cooldown: it requires you to be in a full sprint for a few seconds each time. Add in the fun times of sprint cooldown and shoulder charge has an additional cooldown. Now should titan skating at incredible speeds so you can clear the distance faster than what was probably intended for the class still be allowed? Should shoulder charge not activate if you are running in circles so you have to expose yourself to more danger? Those are some more legitimate questions than shoulder charge itself.

Edited by SNYPA: 4/4/2016 4:45:09 PMI don't use shoulder charge but it is not op and I main a Titan. It's annoying as phuq but it's not op.
-
2 RepliesYour just garbage.
-
It does have a cool down
-
SC has a cooldown though. And I love when Titans shoulder charge without noticing that my shotgun or shortgaze sniper is faster.
-
No. its the only thing thats TitanS a threat in PvP
-
2 RepliesMaybe it should use/require a melee charge?
-
1 Replyits not op if your charge wont hit 60% of the time
-
1 ReplyTired of these posts. People say this needs nerf that needs nerf. Every class has something that sets it apart. Shoulder charge can be annoying but it isn't hard to counter. The only time I die from it is I am down sights and can't see them.
-
3 RepliesOkay, so as much as these posts piss me off and ruin this game, I'm going to try to honestly help you improve. 1. As another Guardian stated, there are way too many counters to SC in this game. If you're dying to it a lot, do you snipe? I ask because I lose probably 80% when charging shotguns and I kill more than I'm killed by it when I'm using a Fusion. 2. If it really bothers you, use a chest piece that gives additional armor. I used a glass needle to get arc defense on my armamentarium. Full health, I can live through SC with it on. The Ram works also for Warlocks. 3. Fun fact: I used SC since launch until two weeks ago. Switched to Unstoppable because hit detection is so broken right now that over 50% weren't registering any damage. Considering the success rate is about 20% when they all could hit, it's not even close to worth using now. Every class has cool abilities, please try to improve your game and maximize your class and counting skills instead of making more of these posts.

There actually is a form of cooldown. It increases the amount of time you need to be sprinting every time you shoulder charge, and unless you let it cool down completely you'll just make it take longer and longer to charge in the first place.
-
3 RepliesMaybe a 3 second cool down to match the time for the actual charge
-
5 RepliesThere is a cooldown as u are running. It takes about 3 sec for it to work. Or do u mean like a nade? Which u could adjust with discistrenint?
-
Shoulder Charge already has a cooldown. Has had one since December. https://youtu.be/Hg-I_KZ6WmA

1 ReplyYeah but it's kind of annoying seeing the blue streaks on the screen

It already has a cooldown.
