Zen Meteor will be a high impact sniper.
How do I know? Look at it's design. It's built pretty much like stillpiercer, but it also has space for heat to escape along the barrel of the sniper, meaning it costs A LOT of energy to fire a bullet (if that space wasn't there, the gun would most likely explode). Also, It's called the Zen METEOR, not the Zen Pebble. I don't have actual info, but by it's design, I'm guessing it will be high impact, high to highest range, and medium stability. I also have a feeling the bullets will be able to over penetrate targets...

Edit 2: A lot of people are saying it will either be a high impact sniper with explosive rounds and a single bullet in the magazine. Others are saying it will be a low impact, high rate of fire sniper. Others say this post is full of crap! Bungie has yet to confirm the gun themselves, so it's still anybody's guess.

So if you look at the retweet by the bungie employee, he is using a few emojis on the bottom which to me seem like a hint about the gun and the potential exotic perk it might have. It looks to me like the gun could have some sort of perk that would light the enemies on fire? Or it could be the explosive rounds like OP said

Since bungie likes to make weird guns, and classify them as fusion rifles (queenbreakers bow, vex mythclast, sleeper simulant which are all fusions technically) I'm guessing that this weapon could be like queenbreakers bow, where you charge it and then it fires, with very high impact. Just a guess tho.

They are definitely adding a lot of new high impact snipers because everyone complains that 1000yd is so good and now ppl can see that it's just kinda average. Just good impact. So you may be right

I'm guessing high impact medium stability with zen moment as a perk or as its hidden perk. 3 or 4 round magazine and aim assist at low to mid range.

2 RepliesCould go either way.. Zen implies low impact high ROF. Meteor sounds like the opposite. My guess? It'll be a heavy along the lines of sleeper stimulant.

I think it'll be a high rate of fire low impact with max stability. It'll come with firefly or something of its like called "meteor". As far as I know Playstation confirmed it wasn't an April fools joke.

Stillpiercer is based off of Hakke snipers, which are medium impact. Zen Meteor looks more like them.

Imagine Zen Meteor w/Patience and Time like stats and impact but it's two main perks would be... Crowd Control & Reactive Reload :O
