TL;DR: If you use the word "adapt" when it comes to weapon balance, you're most likely ignorant to what weapon balance is and should stop saying it. Whenever I see some use the word "adapt" when it comes to weapon balance, I automatically disregard anything else that person has to say. I can't help it. "Adapting" has nothing to do with balance and it's an incredibly ignorant argument. It's shows that, instead of actually making any points against something being OP, the person dumps any responsibility on people that make the original criticism. It's lazy, it's boring and down right lame. Back during the days of TLW vs Thorn, I heard this "argument" every single post even thought everyone knows how unbalanced it was; why? Because it's soooo much easier to just say that the person making the argument can't adapt, that they are scrubs. No matter how OP something is, there is always someone spewing out the word "adapt" and that just exudes ignorance. If you think Firebolts are OP adapt! If you think Snipers are OP adapt! If you think Hunters, Wombo Combos, Mida, TLW, Skip Grenades or anything is OP, well, just adapt!!! See what I mean? So please, next time you feel like telling someone to adapt, think about how you want others to perceive you; because you most likely are making yourself look foolish. Edit: Ok, this is just stupid.
