It's LITERALLY nothing different from regular crucible yet somehow, Bungie finds a way to -blam!- up with lag, connection issue, respawns being EVEN MORE terrible, how do you FUVK UP THIS BAD??
Edit: I will each and every game that my team is doing complete garbage have a respawn next to the same titan that killed me, just to be fist of panic, same death from stormtrance just to spawn around the corner, will finish a late game just to be thrown into another late game, I DONT SEE WHY THIS HAS TO HAPPEN.

Drop rate for over 300 gear is absolutely horrible.

3 RepliesEdited by Masko: 4/2/2016 9:05:37 AMYou must be very good, so the matchmaking wants to punish you for it. I've experianced this countless times: I go 3.5 kd, most kills, win the match. The game says: "Oh you think you're mlg? Guess again, scrub. Here's a 3v6 against a full fireteam, 3 minutes in and guess what? I won't let anyone else join for the entire game. Let's see how good you really are, noob". "Oh and by the way, Shaxx has something to tell you. Shaxx?" "Heavy ammo inbound..." "Hope you make it in from orbit to pick it up :)" "Heavy ammo available..." "Guess not. Enjoy the game, a$$hat"
-
The matchmaking is clearly not based on connection...

Stop complaining

Update: Just got my ass handed to me by a level 250 with a Grasp! I'm 315! Level advantages?

A few reasons come to mind... 1. Iron banner is a special event more people are going to participate hence more lag issues. 2. With Iron banner you get more competitive, people tend to group together with real friends over voice chat so you're just going against better players on average. 3. If your enemies are really good and controlling the map then no matter where you spawn you're going to be in immediate danger. Also because they're not dying as often they're getting their supers back faster and then you getting owned by the op storm-trance etc. IB is not easy, it's very competitive don't let the cheaters get to you lag-switchers etc. Just do your best play fair and earn your gear / weapons the right way. Then you can walk around with you head up in pride knowing you're better than the cheaters! Stay true Guardian and good luck.

Ehhh tbh the only difference between this and regular crucible are the drops. Everything else has been about the same for me. With the occasional stomping, I've enjoyed myself quite a bit this banner
-
Cuz you sick at it
-
Because its the one time of the month a significant number of people are in the crucible at same time and there matchmaking & servers cant handle it...oh wait my bad they don't have servers...
-
2 RepliesI've noticed every mexican gamer tag has a shitty connection. Coincidence?
-
Its a complete sweat fest for me. Im only in lobbys with 2.0 kd players. Sometimes the games go to timer because everyones just head glitching in the back.
-
Its part of why people railed SBMM so hard, getting sweaty every game is not always fun. I enjoy a well fought game, but going 110% every match gets tiring.

4 RepliesAs far as I'm concerned the damage referee is doing more harm than good.
-
Because I don't play it...BLAM!!!!
-
3 RepliesThis is the first iron banner I haven't bothered with, I didn't see the point with new gear and light cap just around the corner.
-
The only reason I'm playing it is because I want the ship.
-
2 RepliesI think a part of the issue is that a LOT of people that usually stay the hell away from crucible play iron banner because of the chance at high level drops. You can do terrible and still grind your way to rank 5 and get loot. So not only are the servers overpopulated, but a large portion of those are not pvp guys.
-
2 Repliesi dont see any difference from any other crucible activity. it is a lag fest. 12 ppl with usually trash connection playing so distant from the server how do u think it can be better.... 3v3 is a little better only cuz there are 6 guys and not 12 but the story wot change
-
4 RepliesLol Ive only played like 4 games and already have my ten kill streak playing solo with no lag in any lobbies don't know what you're talking about
-
It isn't
-
Agree. Lots of horrible lag this week and has been this way the past few IB at the least. Seemed worse this week though. Good matches were great on both sides with good game play, but too few unfortunately. Other than a lot of MIDAs I did see a variety of weapons which I was glad for.

6 RepliesEdited by Rezyl Azzir: 4/2/2016 6:27:04 AMBlame the quitters...I do... If you don't have any comeback medals, your a poor sport... Until Bungie does something to discourage quitting, or encourage staying in the match... It will never get better... I made it rank 5, solo, on all three classes, by thursday and I suffered through all the blowouts and matches in progress... Had some very exciting comebacks...that makes it worth it, imo... If you have a life, or don't have time to grind, you are not excused for quitting...lol No hate, just shame on the quitters...

2 RepliesThe constant in this experiment is you. Final conclusion: you're terrible.

1 ReplyEdited by Hawpy: 4/2/2016 2:11:08 AMI'd forgive the lag and terrible spawns if I found myself being killed by more than the same 3 Primary Weapons, 2 Special Weapons and 2 Heavies. I shouldn't need to elaborate, because let's face it, we're all sick of seeing them now and that's just what Iron Banner does - promote try-harding and poor connections, as everyone is so desperate to win. It's simply impossible for me to enjoy the game unless I'm put into a match where other people are trying different things - i.e. never.
