Analysis of April Update's Failures
So they reintroduce PoE, a very under requested activity. Where is VoG and CE that has been heavily requested? In the current state of the game, shotguns are nerfed into the ground and they didn't bring back a great crowd control weapon (Ghorn) for a crowd control based event. Good luck trying to use a sniper in PoE.
They continue to leave behind the most sought after weapons like Ghorn, Ice Breaker, and Pocket Infinity. Leave behind the exotics that people worked hardest for. Sure they may have brought up a few old legendaries, but I guarantee they did not bring up VoG and CE gear, so still no Fatebringer.
Finally, they have still withheld the 7 exotics that they advertised back in September.

So for you people who cannot do math it has been 7 months and counting we have had to wait for something we have already paid for. These links come straight from Bungie's Armory website. Don't believe me? Just click on one.
I predict a flood of buff posts for shotguns or a more severe cry for Ghorn to be brought up. I also predict that the meta may heavily shift to firefly even more so than it is now.

It's a shame we'd have to wait this long for them, but with no mention of them yet in this update, I'm feeling like bungie can go suck a dick at this point. I've waited long enough. 3 RepliesI agree with everything but Ice Breaker and Ghorn coming back. I had both of those weapons and was really sick of basicly being forced to use those or get kicked for not min/maxing like a pro. I want to have fun and use fun weapons. Like my sword. I love my sword! Actually, those should be great for PoE...

1 ReplyKnowing Bungie...... those will be released 3 to 1 months before next DLC in an update from here to lets say November or December, so I think in September, hopefully before, they are not stupid, they save the best for the last moments to be sure we are like dogs waiting for the stick to catch!. and Yes here I am tongue out and moving my tail yet excited!!......O___o

It's sucky, but that's how they're time gating it. Either the exotics will drop in April, or the next expansion. And it's hard for them to scale up VOG and Crota's end lorewise

It would be great if they brought back some form of re rolling to make the grind for the gear you want actually possible. I'm not saying make it as easy as it was before but possibly make re rolling cost much higher, even if it were to cost 100 legendary marks it would help
