Best DPS method for warpriest?
From what I know it all comes down to Triple Tap (don't have the + casket mag and spraynplay gg roll) 1kys + sleeper simulant vs Black Spindle + Raid MG.
Assume both snipers hold 23 shots, No "heavy ammo" or "special ammo" perk Only generic Sniper and/or Mg ammo
Assume Aura holder maintains for a minimum of 40 seconds.
Can all shots be fired? If so which does mor dps? I've always assumed it was the sleeper+triple tap. Amirite?

If all 6 have spindles, and don't miss their shots, then that is undeniably the best.

Aura holder should use the vangaurd 1kys with triple tap and the raid hmg. Every 9 seconds he should put 5 into the Warpriest, reload, then use heavy to kill an add on 1 second. He should nearly empty his sniper.

1 ReplyI personally use 1KYS and Sleeper Simulant because I don't have the Spindle. I feel like I do a good amount of damage in the DPS phase.

Edited by EARWAK3R: 3/29/2016 8:29:20 PMIf you want best dps for warpriest, use a 320 sleeper sim and finish of with a high impact sniper of your choice. If a full team uses sleeper sim, you will down wp in the 1st phase. No need at all for tom.

You guy's dont seem to understand what I was looking for. I don't give a shit what you think is "easiest" or "most reliable". I have thumbs and a brain. So does my raid team. I want to try new things. BS is boring, I always run out of ammo. I won't be running it at warpriest and I'll be advising my friends not to run it at warpriest. What you think of me is irrelevant because I don't know you and I don't give a shit that you even exist.

ToM+ blessing and weapons is quickest, but risky. Easiest/safest way is weapons spindles with machine guns if out of special. Consistently downs him in two runs.

Weapons of Light with Tether And snipers, I've done it with an all spindle and all 1000 yard stare before. It can be done in one phase with 6 spindles or 6 stares. ~[i]TheGreatNike[/i]

4 Replieseveryone WANTS you to have BS. so I say I have my 316 BS to get on FT, but then switch to my 318 1kys with triple tap. I swear I hit WP with all three crits with my BS, but I always have to reload, which takes forever with BS. yet, when I hit my 4 crits with 1kys, I always get a 5th shot. So obviously, I am hitting the shots. not sure why BS always reloads. at any rate 1kys dos not have as much punch as BS, but when you are hitting 5 shots vs 3, and reloading faster, it is better IMO. a couple nights ago, I was in a group, and using my method above I always had highest DPS every time.

I typically run a scout that I like so tread upon stars, hung jury, suros dis 47 or 43, and last extemity, then a sniper so either my narrowed defiance of yasmin, weylorans march, or 1000 yard with sleeper. I would be willing to be 80% of the time I have the highest damage done with just my sleeper. My preferred setup.
