Those of us from the before times know how great they were. They don't hold a candle to that now. Same reason so many put down auto rifles for hand cannons. Autos still haven't fully recovered, and I doubt fusions will either

  • It was the best of times. It was the worst of times. It was the before times; back when things were nonsensically sensical, and carefree guardians could wander around with hope that they wouldn't lose all hope. The before times have been replaced with the after times, but the before times are somewhat better than the after times, but much better than the times that were. (I'm really trying hard to be confusing at this point, I think I confused myself in there XD)

  • It's because of PvP. We need some system that separates weapon stats from PvE and PvP! Imagine Fusions still being viable in PvE! IMAGINE A PRE-NERF VEX IN A SOLAR BURN NIGHTFALL! Do you remember pre-nerf Red Death?! Do you remember pre-nerf SUROS?! Do. You. Remember. Pre. Nerf. Gally?!?!?!?! You sure as hell do!

  • Yes! And I preferred PVP with overpowered weapons. This game is PVE... PVP should be secondary. Proof is all the people that left because of lack of content and focus on PVP.

Autos surprisingly hold up well when you don't try to bring that up however. Fastest general body hit TTK among Legendary types, fair crit TTKs (Max RoF (DoP, the current alleged "OP" weapon): .8-.86s depending on Armor, mid-RoF: .9s (think MIDA), and max Impact at .92s (think PDX-45 minus the up-left bursts of recoil), all while being the second fastest Handling class with the fastest general Reload speed. Of the 16 Legendary weapon types (13 excluding HandCs) 12 (10 reliably) kill in up to .93s. Among the remaining 4 (6) we have Mid-RoF Pulses (Hakke and Nirwen's likes alike), Boolean Gemini/VoC-like Scouts, Max Impact HandCs (or in general). Even the above have proven community favorites (minus Herja-likes of course). But I'll stop ranting.
