Should Playing in 3rd Person be an Option in Destiny?

I don't see why not, it would attract a larger audience, considering the game is dead already though it's too late. The only problem is that it gives you a larger FOV and is unfair for people in first person. I.e. Battlefront

I'd like it. It'd be like the mission 'Last Rites' but you can actually see your person.

Have you ever noticed how when you change weapons on the Last Rites mission that the reticle changes depending on what gun you're using? If you haven't, go check it out. They've implemented it into the game so I believe it's coming at some point. Maybe a 3rd person mode or mission but I can't see them implementing it across the board.

I love free-roam in 3rd person, but FPS is the combat style I live to play. Fallout has nailed it by giving players the option to switch between the two. Now, Fallout doesn't have PvP. I assume the implication of Third Person vs First Person in competitive gameplay has implications, especially if you're a "camper."

However you chose to play is fine. I like 1 p better but not opposed to any idea like that.

I think it could be cool as an option. I like watching my toons swing swords but idk what effects it would have on pvp and gun play. I'm not a fan of over the shoulder shooters.

I think it would be great with a puzzle mode, but not for fighting (PvE or PvP)
