Why do you use MIDA?
I feel like no one cared about this gun until it got left behind. I believe this community is full of followers and people only use what "the cool kids" as using. So I'm conducting an experiment. I did the same with classes. So let's see why you kids use MIDA.

1 ReplyI kept getting them in year one, wasn't a fan but used it every now and then to change things up. I still use it sometimes, the speed boost is cool, but it's not my thing really.

Haven't touched it since I got a nl shadow, mine has crowd control and outlaw( not the best rolls but not too bad ).

Mida is just a really good all rounder. Hair trigger, speed boost, what's not to like. Mida was my first y1 exotic and I've been a scout user ever since. It's not OP. Bungie has just neutered all other weapons to the point it seems OP. It's no big deal really, I use mida, I get killed by mida, I respawn in 5 seconds and get stuck in again.

2 RepliesWhere's the option that it's the best long range weapon in its slot? You either lower the rof so it's not in its own perfect damage/rof ratio or remove high caliber rounds, since it's too effective with the high ROF and Max AA of 90... BTW, its the only primary that was buffed and never nerfed since launch, and every other primary got nerfed, that's why it sticks as the best primary.. And yes, they can buff every other primary, but it's much easier to nerf one gun than to buff 20..

2 RepliesIt's clearly not option 2. People are trolling this poll. I'm from yr 1 and I can guarantee that in yr 1 it was all about TLW, Thorn, and Hawkmoon. You rarely see people use mida in yr 1. Everyone on here is clearly using what is being used most at the moment.

"bleeehhh bullshít, no one [i]actually[/i] used it Year 1" It was the bomb swag diggity in Year 1, without the ridiculous imbalance that Thorn and TLW shared. It has always been (and remains) an incredibly viable SR option, and never was the only option. Nothing has changed about it since then, and I think that's why it's so fantastic. It is a gun done right. And it was my first exotic from VoG. Proud to have rocked it so long. Never truly putting it down.

I use it this year mostly in the raid in certain areas, and in a few other circumstances because it has the ability to stop enemies in their tracks. The annoying psions that always split? Not with the mida, you whack one with the Mida he isn't splitting, it staggers him before he can split. The fire spitters? No way, you see one recoiling to spit and you hit him with the mida it shuts him right down. If I know for sure I'll be running the buff in war priest where the ads like to hide, you hit one with the mida at 3 seconds it holds him in place and you can wreck him at 1 second and make the buffs last a long ass time. Totems? Great for shooting downrange while you're in the center and keeping thralls off your totem, and stopping the acolytes from spreading when they spawn. Basically, I don't give a flying f*ck about pvp and what they use there, or what the cool kids use. Most noobs don't even know how to use it. I hear them all the time "tuk..tuk...tuk...tuk...tuk...tuk..tuk...tuk..etc, instead of placing a well aimed shot, or a basic double tap. I use it because where and how I use it helps keeps my team alive...period.

Where's the "I use it because it's consistent" option? That's why I use the Mida, even then I don't use it often.

I used it in Year 1 (depending on the map, obviously). However, I don't normally use it as I feel other weapons are more fun. Since it got brought to Year 2, everybody used it as it wasn't initially updated - then people realised how good it is. Soon, people will find it that another mystery weapon turned out to be godly. It's how the system works.

I whored MIDA in year one. Excellent weapon and the only really balanced weapon left.

Don't use it much anymore. Used it alot in year one. I used it up until everyone started bitchin' about it.
